The influences of the position of the primary conductor to the mutual inductance of a test Rogowski coil were studied. The test results show that the deviation of the mutual inductances can not be neglected. Manufacturing variations affect the mutual inductance much and make the coils have bad interchangeability. A potentiometer is suggested to be placed in the coil to provide a passive compensation, enabling coil manufacturers to produce coils with uniform performance increasing interchangeability while reducing manufacturing complexity. The error analysis shows that the coil with potentiometer has very good performance.

To realize the online error analysis and verification of control strategy, it is necessary to simulate the states of the motion mechanism, and accurately to obtain the motion relationship between multi-axis and between motors. So a test and simulation system of multi-axis controller was designed. The system consists of a unit of real-time acquisition and analysis, a simulation unit of motor loads, a motherboard and a computer. Motor driving signals for multi channels are synchronously sampled and analyzed by the unit of acquisition and analysis. Motherboard is used to link the various parts. The working states of motor divers under loads are simulated by simulating the motor loads. In the industrial computer, the control effects of multi-axis control system are displayed by 3D simulation. Test results show that the system is stable and reliable, and has a certain application value.

This research aims to describe in detail the errors of students in doing TIMSS question and describe the factors that cause students to experience errors in the TIMSS for reasoning category in 8th grade. The research using descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were 8th-grade students of SMP Al-Karimah Surabaya Data collection techniques used include tests, interviews, and documentation. While the object in this research is the test results of students of class VIII SMP Al-Karimah Surabaya in working TIMSS in Mathematics 2011 for the category of reasoning. The results of the error analysis of students in TIMSS 2011 can be summarized as follows: mistakes made by students are grouped into 3 types: a) Concept errors, b) Errors procedures, and c) Calculation error. In doing the TIMSS 2011 on reasoning category, the type of error that most students experience is a mistake in understanding the concept.

Based on analyzing characteristics of Rogowski coil, a new type of PCB traveling wave sensor with simple structure, high linearity, and anti-interference ability is proposed. The sensor has fine physical structure, which can effectively resist external electromagnetic interference by anti-interference measurement. In addition, it can greatly improve mutual inductance based on simple combinations. Simulations show that the new PCB traveling wave sensor can validly extract and deliver traveling wave signal and therefore realize fault location and protection accurately.

Abstract This paper describes a method by which, without the use of external personnel or equipment, take-off and landing distances of an aeroplane may be estimated. An error analysis for the method, allowing determination of outcome accuracy, is also shown. The method is validated through use of flight test results from two certification programmes: one on a light aeroplane, and one on a microlight aeroplane.

A photoelectric hybrid coupling current transformer has a lot of obvious advantages over a traditional electromagnetic current transformer. It is very valuable in practical application for the electricity protection and signal measurement of power system. This paper will introduce the design of a new type of Rogowski coil, integral and filter circuit, the realization of A / D timing and Manchester decoding with CPLD. The test results have proven that the proposed system design can perform the expected functionality of photoelectric coupling current transformer. It can better meet the power system’s requirements in the high-speed data processing, large data quantity and complex operation. It also has merit of being simple in structure and easier for modification. It is worth of further investigation.
