Abstract Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been widely used in power system inspection. Most of the existing UAVs are equipped with visible and infrared cameras for fast full spectrum photography and fault monitoring of transmission lines. When the transmission line has defects such as aging, broken strand and serious corrosion, the traditional image recognition, infrared and other observation methods can not identify these defects well. In order to realize the rapid detection and judgment of broken strand, this paper analyzes the characteristics of electromagnetic interference of transmission line, and constructs the electromagnetic interference measurement system based on patrol UAV. The research results of this paper can realize the real-time detection and alarm of broken strand, and provide technical support for line inspection.

This article presents in detail the methodology and results of test studies of the functionality of a prospective optical setup for measuring the surface linear displacements of control objects, developed on the basis of a new interference measurement method, namely the “luminous point” method. The dependencies of the changes in intensity of the optical field of interference patterns are obtained, characterizing the features of the functional capabilities of the setup. It is experimentally confirmed that with significant changes in the angle of incidence of radiation on the surface of the control object, the sensitivity of the investigated setup does not change. The noted research results are most appropriate for use in the development of new contactless optical setups for measuring the displacements of the surfaces of control objects, and for use in various experimental works in the processes of the creation and production of machines and equipment, as well as in the diagnosis of the state of structural materials and power elements of machines and equipment during operation.

This article investigates the design, modeling, and fabrication of small-size (150 × 90 × 1.6 mm) broadband printed biconical antenna. The proposed antenna is intended for use a reference antenna for electromagnetic interference measurement inside the EMC chamber. The reflection coefficient (S11-parameter) is verified by modeling the equivalent circuit of the structure in terms of lumped elements. This structure offers a −10 dB impedance bandwidth (from 0.65 GHz to 2.3 GHz) with the tapered balun feeding method. Therefore, it has a high probability of estimating the electromagnetic waves emitted from several applications such as GSM, LTE, UMTS, 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee and more. The simulated standard antenna parameters are compatible with the measured parameters results. Furthermore, azimuth omnidirectional radiation pattern and well-realized gain (3.8 dBi) are achieved, reflecting good values of antenna factor compared to the commercial design.

For L4 and above autonomous driving levels, the automatic control system has been redundantly designed, and a new steering control method based on brake has been proposed; a new dual-track model has been established through multiple driving tests. The axle part of the model was improved, the accuracy of the transfer function of the model was verified again through acceleration-slide tests; a controller based on interference measurement was designed on the basis of the model, and the relationships between the controller parameters was discussed. Through the linearization of the controller, the robustness of uncertain automobile parameters is discussed; the control scheme is tested and verified through group driving test, and the results prove that the accuracy and precision of the controller meet the requirements, the robustness stability is good. Moreover, the predicted value of the model fits well with the actual observation value, the proposal of this method provides a new idea for avoiding car out of control.

The Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MOEMS) accelerometer is a new type of accelerometer that combines the merits of optical measurement and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) to enable high precision, small volume, and anti-electromagnetism disturbance measurement of acceleration, which makes it a promising candidate for inertial navigation and seismic monitoring. This paper proposes a modified micro-grating-based accelerometer and introduces a new design method to characterize the grating interferometer. A MEMS sensor chip with high sensitivity was designed and fabricated, and the processing circuit was modified. The micro-grating interference measurement system was modeled, and the response sensitivity was analyzed. The accelerometer was then built and benchmarked with a commercial seismometer in detail. Compared to the previous prototype in the experiment, the results indicate that the noise floor has an ultra-low self-noise of 15 ng/Hz1/2.

Precision interference measurement of parameters of form optical surfaces are one of the most important type of the measurement in the field of the geometrical values. In countries-participants of this comparisons the special primary standards in this field of measurements take part in reproduction and transmission the unit of length in this field of measurements ensuring high measuring and calibrating capabilities countries in this type of measurement. In this article presents the result of supplementary comparisons COOMET 570/UA-a/12. The result of comparisons allowed to declare to Belarus and Russia, and to confirm to Ukraine their measuring and calibrating capability in database CIPM MRA.
