the inner flow fields of twelve Hema-type ATY nozzles which have different structure and parameters are simulated by the Fluent software, which is based on the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) theory.Then the simulation results are analyzed,through wich the best designed nozzle is determined.

The quantity of the cold store in our country has been rapidly rising since the 1990s, however, the flow field in the cold store is difficult to obtain accurately by experiments. With reference to the experiences in previous numerical simulations in this paper, CFD is used for analyzing two forms of return air in the cold store with the Finite Volume Methods and the SIMPLE Revised. As a result, Combining with the non-equilibrium wall function, it is found that taking the way of return air on both sides of the fan is more reasonable and the cooling consumption of the empty cold store can be saved before the products enter the cold store. Furthermore, the numerical simulation results can provide reference for choosing fans in the small cold store.

In the paper the gymnasium was used to discuss the selection principle of computational domain, boundary conditions, meshing, turbulence model, the location of referred pressure, solved parameters, and the criterion of convergence during numerical simulation of flow-field around the building based on FLUENT software. Compared the results of numerical simulation and wind tunnel test, it is feasible to calculate the wind-pressure on the building surface based on the theory of computational fluid dynamics.

Firstly, problems of the original tundish were analyzed by simulating flow fields in the paper. Secondly, based of these problems, the new optimization model had been constructed. At last, flow field of new tundish were simulated. The conclusions were gained from simulation results. The new tundish could counteract the effect of sink flow completely and remove shear eddy. It also increased effective stroke of molten steel and enhanced asorptivity of liquid scum to inclusions. These were beneficial to the removal of inclusions.

Four types of Super Typhoon drip emitter with trapezoidal channel were selected out for the investigation of the flow field of the channel, and the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) method was applied to simulate the micro-field inside the channel. The simulation results showed that the emitter discharge of different turbulent model is 4%-14% bigger than that of the experimental results, the average discharge deviation of κ-ω and RSM model is 5, 4.5 respectively, but the solving efficiency of the κ-ω model is obviously higher than that of the RSM model.

The paper explored the research progress of simulation on the flow field in anaerobic reactor by the summary of development of anaerobic reactor and principle and characteristics of computational fluid dynamics simulation and introduction of study and application status on numerical simulation. And then it gave its opinion on the development of simulation on the flow field in anaerobic reactor in future.

In order to enhance the efficiency of the Savonius rotor, this paper designs a new type of Savonius rotor with a rectifier. By using Computational Fluid Dynamics software to simulate and optimize the various parameters which affect the efficiency of the rotor. The sliding mesh method is applied here. The Cp-λ curves of wind turbine with different structural parameters are obtained after numerical simulation of flow field. On this basis, this paper gets the optimal structural parameters. And the results indicated that this new type of Savonius rotor has great improvement of efficiency compared with the traditional Savonius-type rotor.

Honeycomb ceramic is the key component of the regenerative system. The numerical simulation was performed using FLUENT, a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, to compare simulation results to the test data. The regenerative process of a honeycomb ceramic regenerator was simulated under different conditions. Experiments were carried out on honeycomb regenerators that are contained in a methane oxidation reactor. The calculated temperatures of flue gas inlet were compared with the ones measured. The tendency of the temperature is the same as the experiment.

This article introduces a new vortex gripper with a diversion body. Vortex gripper, as a pneumatic non-contact handling device, can generate lifting force to hold a workpiece without any contact. In order to predict the characteristics of this new vortex gripper, including pressure distribution on the upper surface of the workpiece, lifting force, supporting stiffness, and flowrate, a computational fluid dynamics study has been carried out. In the vortex cup, air swirling flow is a complex turbulent one; so Reynolds stress model (RSM) was used to describe internal air swirling flow. In addition, an experiment was carried out to study the characteristics of the vortex gripper. When compared with the experimental results, the reliability of numerical simulation results by RSM was verified. The vortex gripper with a diversion body could generate greater lifting force when compared with those designed by Xin et al. with the same air consumption. Therefore, the efficiency of the vortex gripper is improved.

For flotation characteristics of complex sulfide mineral of low-tin in Guangxi Dachang mine, fluid dynamics software FLUENT was applied to simulate the turbulence intensity of slurry fluid in flotation machine at different inflation pressures. The effect of flow field characteristics was gotten for flotation machine. Simulation results show that the best inflation pressure was 120000 Pa.

By using the Reynolds stress turbulence model at big Reynolds number condition and computational fluid dynamics, the data simulating calculation was carried out to the safety valve inner flow field with different opening size and different valve structural parameters. The result were showed in visual graphics , and the study showed that the valve structural parameters impact on the flow field distribution , the cavitation creation and the flow noise greatly.
