It is the hotpot to study the application of stochastic resonance (SR) in the field of mechanical fault diagnosis. The fault diagnosis system based on SR was developed, using “ARM+DSP” dual-core structure as hardware and embedded system as software, implemented signal acquisition, data storage, data analysis, waveform display and so on. The SR was adopted as characteristic quantity to analyze vibration signals for fault diagnosis. The experiment results showed that the function of portable fault diagnosis instrument is stable. It has veracity and validity.

A fault diagnosis system based on the Client/Server mode is developed, which realizes the purpose of diagnosing the Telemetry Equipment placing on the station address through local or IP network. And the fault method uses the fault tree to describe the logic relation between fault nodes. And the fault tree is realized by virtual instrument. The signal acquisition module uses PXI architecture, the interactive user interface is develops under LabVIEW graphical software and the data storage uses SQL server database platform. The developed fault diagnosis system can realize the functions of information management on instrument and fault node, fault detection or location, and device remote control. Now this system is used in test area, which improves the telemetry equipment maintenance rate.

As the constantly growth of embedded Technology, embedded products put into use in almost everywhere around our life. This paper mainly introduce how to set up the Qt/Embedded Cross-compiling environment in Linux system platform, and the development and transplant of embedded fault diagnosis system use development tools of Qt/Embedded. This system achieve those functions, including fault display, signal analysis, diagnostic model training and data storage or transmittal, by graphical interfaces designing and performance function addition. And finally create the application document which applies to ARM framework embedded processor by Cross-compiling. In the end, the application document is transplanted and run in the target platform, and testing the diagnosis effects.

With the rapid growth of the country’s economy and the rapid expansion of the industrial scale, the engine is developing towards high speed, high efficiency, and high power density. Synchronous motors are an important part of the power provided by large-scale chemical enterprises. The protection and control of synchronous motors are related to the long-term and safe operation of enterprise electrical equipment. The purpose of this paper is to realize the remote vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis of multiple rotating machines and real-time online monitoring and data storage function of the vibration state of the monitored equipment. The operation is simple and stable, and therefore, the problem of the equipment can be found at the first time, which provides forward operation of the equipment for a long time. In this paper, vibration caused by unbalanced mechanical equipment is not normally monitored remotely. Taking rigid rotor rotating machine as the research object, we adopt “Web server-database server-client” structure, the structure is the core software and hardware system design, and the application of Internet of Things technology enables users to remotely monitor and analyze the vibration state of multiple rotating mechanical devices at the same time. Hardware design mainly includes processor, function chip, sensor selection, filter circuit, adaptive sampling frequency signal acquisition circuit, and temperature measurement circuit design. Software design mainly includes main program design, signal acquisition subroutine, calibration subroutine, unbalanced calculation subroutine, and GPRS network communication subroutine. Finally, the function and stability of the whole system are verified through multiple experimental analyses. The objective has finally been achieved. The remote vibration monitoring and fault diagnosis system of the rotating machines designed on this paper is of low cost and high efficiency, simple operation, and high stability, and it is essential to identify and eliminate equipment errors in time.

In order to suit the demand of monitoring and fault diagnosis of modern small and medium machinery devices better, this paper discusses the development of machinery condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of good universality and strong expansibility using LabVIEW. Mainly illuminates vibration signal, temperature signal and electric current signal acquisition module using NI data acquisition hardware; signal analysis module in time domain, frequency domain and joint time–frequency domain using signal processing technology. DataSocket, database and fuzzy diagnosis technique have been utilized enabling this system to monitor and diagnose machinery fault remotely.

To improve the level of ship monitoring, ease the engineer’s working strength, improve the level of the shipping company regulation, the remote fault diagnosis system of ship’s engine room is designed with the comprehensive utilization of neural network, SQL Sever database, C/S structure, the Inmarsat system, etc. The system includes the data acquisition, data storage, the display and control of interface and wireless transmission. The results of application show that the system is stable, easy to use, modification with low cost, helpful for engineer knowing the state of engine room, convenient for unified supervision of the shipping company, improves the work efficiency, safeguards the shipping service.
