Abstract With the integration of information technology and manufacturing industry and the improvement of equipment monitoring data and computer computing ability, equipment fault diagnosis has entered the era of “big data”. Using big data analysis method for fault diagnosis, the fault diagnosis model can learn its own characteristics and complete fault identification, so that the fault diagnosis is more intelligent and automatic on the basis of high identification accuracy. This paper mainly studies the application of fault diagnosis method and big data analysis method in pump product fault diagnosis.

The urban heat pipe network fault diagnosis system was designed in this paper so as to realize the automation diagnosis. The paper uses the simulation calculation method and the heat pipe network fault diagnosis system to analyze and study an urban heat pipe network leak fault. The diagnosis results of the heat pipe network fault diagnosis system are almost the same to that of the simulation calculation method. Moreover, the system can accurately locate the leak point and the positioning accuracy is 5%. Thus the heat pipe network fault diagnosis system which is designed has a certain practical value.

Vacuum circuit breaker becomes more and more complicated, integrated, high-speed and intellectualized. To insure vacuum circuit breaker in its good conditions, the function of fault diagnosis gets more important than before in the process of repairing. This paper designed and developed a network fault diagnosis system based on PROFINET and B/S (Browser/Server) frame through the analysis of the need of fault diagnosis. Taking good use of testing information and diagnosis rules, the system realized open and distributed diagnosing process, and provided a flat of sharing information, which is the technique basis of combining testing and diagnosing. During design, we use Kingview as developing software. It is proved in LAN that the system can utilize present diagnosis rules in database to diagnose fault distributed.

It is the hotpot to study the application of stochastic resonance (SR) in the field of mechanical fault diagnosis. The fault diagnosis system based on SR was developed, using “ARM+DSP” dual-core structure as hardware and embedded system as software, implemented signal acquisition, data storage, data analysis, waveform display and so on. The SR was adopted as characteristic quantity to analyze vibration signals for fault diagnosis. The experiment results showed that the function of portable fault diagnosis instrument is stable. It has veracity and validity.
