Abstract In this paper, we discuss the Δ-convergence and strong convergence for the iterative sequence generated by the proposed scheme to approximate a common fixed point of a total asymptotically nonexpansive single-valued mapping and a quasi nonexpansive multi-valued mapping in a complete uniformly convex hyperbolic space. Finally, by giving an example, we illustrate our result.

In this paper, we will make some further discussions on the JL(X) and YJ(X) which are symmetric and related to the side lengths of some special inscribed triangles of the unit ball, and also introduce two new geometric constants L1(X,▵), L2(X,▵) which related to the perimeters of some special inscribed triangles of the unit ball. Firstly, we discuss the relations among JL(X), YJ(X) and some geometric properties of Banach spaces, including uniformly non-square and uniformly convex. It is worth noting that we point out that uniform non-square spaces can be characterized by the side lengths of some special inscribed triangles of unit ball. Secondly, we establish some inequalities for JL(X), YJ(X) and some significant geometric constants, including the James constant J(X) and the von Neumann-Jordan constant CNJ(X). Finally, we introduce the two new geometric constants L1(X,▵), L2(X,▵), and calculate the bounds of L1(X,▵) and L2(X,▵) as well as the values of L1(X,▵) and L2(X,▵) for two Banach spaces.

1. In this paper, we investigate the ranges of projections on certain Banach spaces of functions defined on a diadic tree. The notion of a “tree-like” Banach space is due to James 4], who used it to construct the separable space JT which has nonseparable dual and yet does not contain l1. This idea has proved useful. In [3], Hagler constructed a hereditarily c0 tree space, HT, and Schechtman [6] constructed, for each 1 ≦ p ≦ ∞, a reflexive Banach space, STp with a 1-unconditional basis which does not contain lp yet is uniformly isomorphic to for each n.In [1] we showed that if U is a bounded linear operator on JT, then there exists a subspace W ⊂ JT, isomorphic to JT such that either U or (1 — U) acts as an isomorphism on W and UW or (1 — U)W is complemented in JT. In this paper, we establish this result for the Hagler and Schechtman tree spaces.

LetXbe a real locally uniformly convex reflexive Banach space with locally uniformly convex dual spaceX⁎. LetT:X⊇D(T)→2X⁎be a maximal monotone operator andC:X⊇D(C)→X⁎be bounded and continuous withD(T)⊆D(C). The paper provides new existence theorems concerning solvability of inclusion problems involving operators of the typeT+Cprovided thatCis compact orTis of compact resolvents under weak boundary condition. The Nagumo degree mapping and homotopy invariance results are employed. The paper presents existence results under the weakest coercivity condition onT+C. The operatorCis neither required to be defined everywhere nor required to be pseudomonotone type. The results are applied to prove existence of solution for nonlinear variational inequality problems.

We investigate some subclasses ofk-uniformly convex andk-uniformly starlike functions in open unit disc, which is generalization of class of convex and starlike functions. Some coefficient inequalities, a distortion theorem, the radii of close-to-convexity, and starlikeness and convexity for these classes of functions are studied. The behavior of these classes under a certain modified convolution operator is also discussed.
