Mycosis fungoides (MF), also known as Alibert-Bazin syndrome or granuloma fungoides, is the most common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Cutaneous lymphomas are an uncommon, heterogeneous group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) of T- and B-cell origin where the skin is the primary organ of involvement. This is a case of a 60-year-old Nigerian woman, who was diagnosed and managed as a case of chronic dermatitis but further investigations confirmed a diagnosis of MF; she was thereafter managed with topical glucocorticoids/chemotherapy and improved on these treatments. We make a plea for better awareness of the disease among physicians and pathologists in Africa.

Acquired ichthyosis is a known paraneoplastic sign of lymphoproliferative malignancies, with histopathologic findings that are nonspecific, revealing no insinuation of the underlying neoplasm. Mycosis fungoides (MF) is a skin malignancy of T helper lymphocytes with a wide clinical spectrum. Among the atypical variants of MF, there is an ichthyosis- like presentation. However, to date, rare cases of ichthyosiform MF has been reported. We report here the clinical and histopathological features of patient with IMF.

Woringer-Kolopp disease is a rare variant of mycosis fungoides, a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Described is a case of a small annular plaque on the foot diagnosed histologically as Woringer-Kolopp disease and treated successfully with topical and intralesional steroids. In addition, a brief review of the literature and treatment options is provided.

Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) describes a group of lymphoproliferative disorders characterized by localization of neoplastic T lymphocytes to the skin. Mycosis fungoides (MF) represents the most common type of CTCL and accounts for ∼60% of all primary cutaneous lymphomas. Apart from the classic type of MF, many clinical and histopathologic variants have been described. The malignant lymphocytes in MF are usually CD3, CD4 and CD45RO positive and CD8 negative. An unusual immunohistochemical profile of a CD4-negative and CD8-positive mature T-cell phenotype has been reported in a minority of patients; up to 20% of early-stage MF demonstrates a CD8-positive phenotype. There are only a few cases of a double-negative CD4/CD8 MF phenotype reported in the literature. We present the case of a 60-year-old male presenting a double-negative CD4/CD8 MF phenotype.

Background: Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma with many clinicopathological variants, thus difficult to diagnose in its early stages. Case Presentation: This case report is about a 76 years old Chinese woman presented with 2 years history of erythematous plaque on the lateral right thigh, after combining clinical manifestations with results of pathological examinations, it is consistent with the diagnosis of MF. Discussion: Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Patient in this case had a long course of disease and repeated attacks. Ultrasound shows small patch of liquid dark area of the lesion. Color Doppler image shows rich blood flow which just looks like lacustrine. Thick and nourishing blood vessels could be seen in the depth. Conclusion: Our case report using ultrasound to observe MF and demonstrate that ultrasound is helpful in diagnosing and evaluating effectiveness in treating MF.

Lymphoma is one of the most prevalent forms of cancers in dogs, however, it is uncommon on the skin. Cutaneous lymphoma can present as erythematous and exfoliative superficial lesions or raised masses. Histologically, cutaneous lymphomas are subdivided into epitheliotropic and non-epitheliotropic. Epitheliotropic lymphomas is mostly seen as mycosis fungoides and more rarely as pagetoid reticulosis or Sézary syndrome. Non-epitheliotropic lymphomas include anaplastic large T-cell lymphoma, unspecified peripheral T-cell lymphoma, lymphomatoid granulomatosis, intravascular lymphoma, and subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma. This literature review presents macroscopic and histopathological aspects of canine cutaneous lymphomas.
