Vegetation is regarded as one of the most effective methods to improve the outdoor microclimate and pedestrian thermal comfort. Throughout numerical simulation experiments, the plant communities’ effect on outdoor wind environment and the relationship between them have been studied. The conclusions could be drawn as follows: 1) Ginkgo biloba community, Sophora japonica community and Magnolia denudata community have more obvious attenuation effect of wind velocity. Communities have poorer attenuation effect of wind velocity because of smaller size and crown diameter. 2) The reduction ratio of upstream wind velocity increases accompanying canopy closure, leaf area index, structure and height of dominant species of plant community.

According to the micro-climate environment outdoor of the region, wind environment outdoor which is under planning programming can be done analog computation using computational fluid mechanics PHOENICS software. A set of comprehensive prediction and assessment system which is mainly focused on outdoor environment composite index WBGT can be established combining with assessment method on wind environment outdoor of predecessors in order to more accurately and humanly predict and assess the wind environment outdoor, bring safe, comfortable and healthy outdoor environment and provide references for the assessment and design of green residential district.

Through FLUENT numerical simulation, this paper is aimed on studying the influence of outdoor wind environment on indoor environment. We found that building height, building layout format and opening format in the wall are significant impacted on indoor natural ventilation. At the three-fourth height of building, if the building layout and housing opening is stagger, it can get high-quality indoor natural ventilation and more evenly indoor wind field.

This paper adopted computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, used k-ε RNG turbulence model-closed control differential equations for numerical simulation. Through numerical simulation and analysis of wind environment in a middle school campus, the round wind field under dominant wind direction was got in the summer and winter. According to the results of velocity field and pressure field, analysis the wind environment, compared the influence of wind direction and surrounding buildings space to the natural ventilation, provided guidance introduce for the layout of the school.

Using the common classical turbulence model, k-ε turbulence model which has fairly common usability,CFD simulations for group high-rise building and wind-induced static interference between tall buildings, are conducted. Based on the comparison between the CFD and relative wind tunnel test ,it shows that: the method of numerical simulation have better accuracy, could be used for group high-rise buildings study of static interference.
