This paper investigates a supply chain consisting of the monopoly live broadcast platform, content producers, and consumers. Based on the two-sided market theory, the platform’s pricing strategies and their analysis are considered under the registration system and the transaction system. Firstly, it shows that platform users’ scale and profit are positively correlated with the intergroup network externality from both sides and the intragroup network externality inside the consumer group and negatively correlated with the intragroup network externality inside the content producer group. Secondly, the platform profit, registration fee charged to content producers, and transaction fee charged to consumers are negatively correlated to the content production cost and positively related to consumers’ content quality sensitivity coefficient. When consumers are more sensitive to content quality, they are positively correlated to content quality. Finally, the registration fee charged by the platform to consumers is positively correlated with the content production cost, negatively correlated with the content quality level, and positively associated with the consumer content quality sensitivity coefficient.

Abstract This article develops multiple dependent state (MDS) sampling inspection plans based on the mean of lifetime quality characteristic that follows non-normal distributions viz., exponential and Lindley distribution. In this plan, the lot quality is measured by the lot mean (𝜇). We have estimated the optimal plan parameters of the proposed technique by non-linear optimization approaches considering acceptable quality level and rejection quality level. We have compared the sample size between the MDS sampling inspection plan and the single sampling inspection plan for the variable. Finally, we have taken two examples to illustrate the proposed technique.

Abstract Biodegradable nutrient media based on cellulose fibers and peat with added protective materials and stimulating represent the higher form of transplant used in current technologies for producing plant seedlings. Worldwide intensive development of the pots production industry (the effect of increasing demands from agriculture and their quality level in terms of degradability and operational sustainability, with outstanding results in reducing stress factors) led to fast expansion of their use with a high economic efficiency. Determination of potential and effective degradation was achieved by the method for determining cellulolytic activity in soil. Biodegradation potential recorded differences during the course of experience in the sense that it increases as the pots exposure time to treatment is higher. In conclusion, the pots treatment (planted/without plant) has a great influence on the effective biodegradation.

Under the background of vigorously promoting the high-quality economic development model in China, this paper proposes a Dynamic Double Index model to evaluate the fiscal output quality of cities in the Pearl River Delta. The empirical results show that Shenzhen, Guangzhou are at a high quality level, while Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Zhongshan and Dongguan are at a low quality level. This empirical result is consistent with the fact that Shenzhen has industrial tax source advantages, Guangzhou has consumption tax source advantages, but Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou Zhongshan and Dongguan do not have advantages. At the same time, the consistency also proves that the Dynamic Double Index model has accurate measurement function and can be used as a powerful tool to deal with big data information problems.

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>This study considers a supply chain consists of one manufacturer produces a product with a quality level and sells it through one retailer. A stylized model is developed to investigate the impacts of consumers' privacy concerns on pricing, quality decisions, and profitability through the relationship between product quality and personal information. When consumers' privacy concern is considered, the product quality level, the wholesale price, the payoffs of the manufacturer and retailer, and consumer surplus decrease with the personal information loss, whereas the selling price increases if this loss is low. Our results also show that the retailer prefers to charge a high selling price if the information benefit and the personal information loss are low, or the information benefit is relatively high. Moreover, a "win-win-win" outcome can be achieved among the manufacturer, retailer, and consumers if the personal information loss is sufficiently low. In the case of quality-differentiated products, however, although the manufacturer improves the product quality level, the wholesale prices are increased if the information benefit and the personal information loss are low, or the information benefit is high.</p>

The current study aimed to identify the quality level of academic life during COVID-19 pandemic from students' perception of Taibah University, Yanbu branch. To this end, a descriptive approach was used to answer the following main research question: What is the quality level of academic life during COVID-19 pandemic from students' perception of Taibah University? The study tool consisted of a questionnaire to measure the quality level of the students’ academic life. The tool was ensured for reliability and validity and composed of three sections that contained indicators to measure the quality of academic life; academic practices, academic satisfaction, and academic support. The sample of the study consisted of 187 male and female students. Results showed high perceptions for the respondents in the quality of academic practices section (M=4.15, SD=1.03). The statement No.9 entitles “Rate the precautionary actions provided to you to activate the online education as an alternative to face-to-face education during COVID-19 pandemic” obtained the highest rank (M=4.63). The second section that measured the level of academic satisfaction recorded (M=1.76, SD=1.10), obtaining 58.71%. The statement 6 entitles “I felt my love to home increased during COVID-19 pandemic” obtained the highest rank (M=4.63, SD=.81, 98.93%). The academic support dimension recorded (M=4.33, SD=.93), Indicating that the level of academic support for students during COVID-19 pandemic was excellent (86.65%) as perceived by the study sample. The statement 5 which entitles “Rate the extent to benefit from academic counseling during COVID-19 pandemic” got the highest rank (M=4.67, SD=.72, 93.485). The most challenges encountered the students gradually categorized from the highest to the lowest were the poor Internet network, non-availability of laptop computers, low experience in working with blackboard, and poor technical experience. The study recommended the significance of academic support and suggested doing further studies on and the reality of quality of academic life from faculty members perspectives and the role of precautionary health during COID-19 pandemic to enhance the national loyalty for the university students.

Objective: This ecological study aims to perform a comprehensive comparison and evaluation of the quality of care in public and private hospitals according to hospital type.Methods: Thisstudy compared and analyzed the results of the National Quality Assessment Program (NQAP) of Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) and Incentive Scheme for Quality Evaluation of Hospital Services. The NQAP results published on the HIRA website, as of the end of May 2021, and the internal data of HIRA for the 2020 Incentive Scheme for Quality Evaluation of Hospital Services were used as data collection sources.Results: The NQAP analysisrevealed that the overall average scores were higher for public rather than private hospitals, while the Incentive Scheme for Quality Evaluation of Hospital Services analysis reported that the proportion of higher grades (i.e., grades 1 and 2) was higher in public hospitals. Therefore, it was revealed that public hospital quality levels were notlowerthan that of private hospitals.However, itis necessary to improve the quality levelsin terms ofthe quality distribution.Conclusions: The quality levels of public hospitals are notlowerthan that of private hospitals. However,the high average quality level, we identified certain areas that required improvement in their quality level throughout the distribution. Currently, public hospitals that are particularly located in the lower ranks should strive to achieve the average quality level demonstrated by same level private hospitals, thereby, achieving progressive quality levels and minimizing the between institutions. Thus, furtherresearch should focus on identifying the trends of differencesin quality levels, and they should determine the causes by controlling for the characteristics of medical institutions.

Introduction. The health of schoolchildren is the foundation for the educational process and the key to success in future work activities. The current level of development of technology and information technology allows you to bring health monitoring to a new, higher quality level. Purpose of the study: on the basis of a comparison of various historically established approaches to assessing the health of schoolchildren, to identify the main development trends and promising technologies suitable for determining the integral indicator of the health of schoolchildren. Research methodology and techniques. The research is theoretical. To search for information about innovative technologies, we analyzed scientific articles in Russian and English, taken from scientometric databases. As a result, we selected 14 technologies that were more consistent with the requirements of minimum time consumption, distance and invasiveness. Results. Technologies used in biomechanics, medicine, forensic science, navigation together can make it possible to comprehensively assess the psychological, neurodynamic, motor and energy components of schoolchildren's health. The most promising systems for assessing the health of schoolchildren are the following systems: an image processing system (technology for detecting and recognizing faces, technology for recognizing facial expressions and gestures), an optoelectronic measuring system (motion capture technology), an internal thermometry system (acoustothermometry), a navigation system, an electromagnetic measuring system, system of content analysis of Internet traffic, strain-dynamometric system, as well as neurotechnological system. The proposed approach requires significant information resources for the accumulation and automated processing of large amounts of information in a single analytical centre. The use of artificial intelligence algorithms will allow detecting hidden relationships of health indicators, assessing risks and giving personalized recommendations. On the basis of the information collected, it is planned to create an electronic passport of schoolchildren's health with further integration of this module into the domestic educational complex of an electronic student's diary.
