Introduction. Ensuring national security is an urgent task for modern Ukraine. The national culture and its infrastructure components are given special attention in developed countries. Achieving the pace of rapid development of the national economy is now an important scientific and practical task. Ensuring the security of the sphere of culture is one of the priority directions of state security policy. Methods. The following methods of scientific knowledge are used in the course of the research: analysis, synthesis, grouping, analytical method, forecast method, study of scientific and statistical sources, tabular method, expert method. Results. The article proposes an approach to assessing the level of security of the sphere of culture by the indices of macroeconomic and social and demographic security. The article has received a practical implementation of the approach to assessing the level of security of the sphere of culture by an expert method. The conducted research has allowed to reveal a state of safety of a sphere of culture. The weight coefficients of economic and social and demographic security indices are obtained. Discussion. The prospect of further exploration in this direction is to develop a method of the main components and comparative analysis to assess the level of national security and security of the sphere of culture. Motherhood in the context of homeland security culture is a site of intense contestation—both a powerful form of currency and a target of unprecedented assault. In this book, I designate the term homeland maternity in order to theorize the relationship between motherhood and nation in US homeland security culture. While scholars of rhetoric, feminist, and cultural studies have explored homeland security culture and the politics of contemporary motherhood from critical perspectives, no study to date has considered how recent discourses of motherhood and nation are deeply enmeshed and, as this book argues, mutually constitutive. As reproductive bodies are represented as a threat to national security, either through supposed excess or deficiency, a culture of homeland maternity intensifies the requirements of motherhood as it works to discipline those who refuse to adhere. Homeland Maternity offers a way to understand how the policing of maternal bodies in contemporary US culture serves an overt but unexamined political function—namely, securing the nation in times of perceived vulnerability, and with profound implications for reproductive justice.

The Impact

This paper is entitled "Terrorism and Iraqi National Security 2003-2017: the Socio-Economic and Cultural Losses". It discusses the impact of the acts of terrorist groups, especially by Al Qaeda and ISIS on Iraqi national security. Besides, it highlights the impact of terrorist groups on the Iraqi national unity, and socio-cultural sectors of Iraq's society. The findings of our paper show the wide range extent of damages done by the two mentioned terrorist organizations on Iraq's national security, in terms of cost, time, and quality. Besides, the terrorist acts, especially that of ISIS, had a profound effect on Iraq's peace, stability, and had disrupted the social cohesion of Iraqi society. Abstract This article brings into discussion the current state of security culture in Romania as well as the impact that the development of security education has in the training of young people who are socially responsible and aware of the importance of internalizing the basic concepts in ensuring individual and national security. The analysis continues with success factors to be pursued in public-private partnerships as a means of promoting education and security culture among young people, along with identifying recommendations for their development and improvement. Security education represents a pillar for developing a strong security culture. Therefore, increasing the security awareness among the population, especially of the young people enrolled in various educational stages, must become a priority on the strategic agendas. This paper analyzes the steps performed so far in Romania and looks into the benefits such a strategy could bring to cybersecurity, especially by developing a framework for sustainable partnerships in the security field.
