In the present study, the susceptibility to flash-floods and flooding was studied across the Izvorul Dorului River basin in Romania. In the first phase, three ensemble models were used to determine the susceptibility to flash-floods. These models were generated by a combination of three statistical bivariate methods, namely frequency ratio (FR), weights of evidence (WOE), and statistical index (SI), with fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP). The result obtained from the application of the FAHP-WOE model had the best performance highlighted by an Area Under Curve—Receiver Operating Characteristics Curve (AUC-ROC) value of 0.837 for the training sample and another of 0.79 for the validation sample. Furthermore, the results offered by FAHP-WOE were weighted on the river network level using the flow accumulation method, through which the valleys with a medium, high, and very high torrential susceptibility were identified. Based on these valleys’ locations, the susceptibility to floods was estimated. Thus, in the first stage, a buffer zone of 200 m was delimited around the identified valleys along which the floods could occur. Once the buffer zone was established, ten flood conditioning factors were used to determine the flood susceptibility through the analytical hierarchy process model. Approximately 25% of the total delimited area had a high and very high flood susceptibility.

This paper aims to construct analysis model of port urban logistics arrangement using Delphi and analytical hierarchy process method, furthermore, establishment of fuzzy theory and analytical hierarchy process model and factor set. And calculate every index weight with the weighting method--Gl based on differential principle and appraise comprehensive efficiency using fuzzy theory and analytical hierarchy process evaluation method. Using the average weighting method make quantitative disposal with indexes of appraisal factors and educes port urban logistics comprehensive efficiency outcome. And in so doing, validating Shanghai port urban logistics competitiveness actually which respects its efficiency status.

Aim: “This study Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Model for Malaria Control” was aimed at using analytical hierarchy process model to prioritize alternative strategies for malaria control. Place and the Duration of the Study: The study was carried out in Bauchi State, Nigeria from May, 2017 to June, 2019. Methodology: The study used primary and secondary data. The secondary data were the identified alternatives strategies for malaria control and the criteria for evaluating these strategies obtained from malaria control journals and World Health Organization report. The criteria and malaria control strategies were used as input for developing a 9-point scale used in a questionnaire to obtained responses from the Experts in scoring the pairwise comparison of the criteria and the alternatives. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP) model was used to develop the pairwise comparison matrices from the Experts opinions. Computations were carried out with the help of computer software, business performance management Singapore (BPMSG-AHP ONLINE). Results:The result of the analysis shows that the use of insecticide treated nets was ranked the best strategy for malaria control (AHP score 0.348). Based on the findings of this paper, it is recommended that the use of treated mosquito net should be given much attention in controlling malaria in Nigeria. Conclusion:We therefore conclude that in a multi -criteria decision making situation, AHP is a powerful tool to assists decision makers.

Kata kunci: Process hierarki beranalitis; reka bentuk gagasan; proses pembangunan produk; perbandingan pasangan; pembangunan kerusi roda Selecting the right design concept at conceptual design stage in product development process is a crucial decision. Inaccurate decision can cause the product to be redesigned or remanufactured. One of the useful tools that can be employed in determining the most appropriate design concept is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP has been employed in almost all applications related to decision–making problems. In this paper, the results of a case study illustrates that AHP concept can assist designers to effectively evaluate various conceptual design alternatives at the conceptual design stage. This paper presents the methodology of selecting design concepts using analytical hierarchy process. Key words: Analytical hierarchy process; conceptual design; product development process; pairwise comparison; wheelchair development
