AbstractIn recent years, with the rapid development of high-speed railways (HSRs), power interruptions or disturbances in traction power supply systems have become increasingly dangerous. However, it is often impossible to detect these faults immediately through single-point monitoring or collecting data after accidents. To coordinate the power quality data of both traction power supply systems (TPSSs) and high-speed trains (HSTs), a monitoring and assessing system is proposed to access the power quality issues on HSRs. By integrating train monitoring, traction substation monitoring and data center, this monitoring system not only realizes the real-time monitoring of operational behaviors for both TPSSs and HSTs, but also conducts a comprehensive assessment of operational quality for train-network systems. Based on a large number of monitoring data, the field measurements show that this real-time monitoring system is effective for monitoring and evaluating a traction-network system.

Turbopump is a high-fault-rate component in Liquid Rocket Engine (LRE). The research on real-time process monitoring technology and system for turbopump is vital to increase the reliability and safety of LRE. In this paper, three real-time process monitoring algorithms for turbopump were studied firstly, on the basis of monitoring parameters selection and multiple domain feature extraction. Then, the real-time monitoring system realized by means of PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) controller was introduced. And, aiming at the shortage of the previous system, the real-time process monitoring system based on DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for turbopump was studied to realize higher computing speed, which could conduce to extract multiple domain features and run manifold real-time monitoring algorithms. The new system could also satisfy the small-sized requirement in engine flying state.

A multi-function, easily extensible and portable tracking and monitoring system is designed for traction and drive system to meet the growing requirements of high-speed EMUs, which is increasingly complex for real-time monitoring system. The design principle of the embedded hardware system based on the modular structure of CPCI bus is presented in details, and the realization of software functions such as on-line real-time data processing, offline data analysis, and human-machine interaction is put forward on the basis of LabVIEW development platform. Furthermore, the VI design and scheduling mechanism based on state-machine are elaborated, and the measurement algorithm and its implementation of the traction motors input power and constantly changing signal frequency of the monitoring system is also analyzed. The system has been applied in certain models of the high-speed EMUs, and its stable operation, flexible settings, high accuracy and good application effect makes it provide a scientific guarantee for the safe operation of the high-speed EMUs.

This paper proposes the introduction of embedded technology in dust monitoring system to realize real-time monitoring online in factories. Taking S3C2440 as hardware platform and embedded Linux the developmental environment, the system also introduces a development kit Qt/Embedded from high-performance embedded system GUI. With a soft-hardware system scheme, it realizes the design of real-time monitoring on parameters like dust concentration in the air. Much emphasis has been laid on the analysis of system composition, working theory, hardware design and software development. Integrating functions of displaying, information processing, monitoring etc., the system has such advantages as high-speed, accuracy, high sensitivity and stable performance, and can be matched with various monitoring systems.
