It has been argued that life without water is impossible; eathly life began with water all aound. Ancient scripture has been quoted to drive the matter home. Woman-Water relationship is beyond controversy from the ancient time. It is a world wide phenomenon and very true in India. Human culture around the rivers in India is such that rivers are conceived as woman and somewhere as mother. The realationship between rivers and women has been shown with some detail.

Rasa Shastra which explains a compendium of formulations that act as spectacular remedies for numerous diseases. Metals were used for Deha Vada (for the cure of ailments) and also for Rasayana Karma(Immunity boosting). Loha Bhasma had been using in many formulations from ancient time itself. Kanta Loha, which is superior among Loha can be considered as Magnetite. The Magnetite should contain more than 60% of iron content in it. The incineration process  done according to the reference of classical Rasa Shastra classics. The controversy term “iron overload lead to diabetes” needs to be rechecked by monitoring the results of tests in diabetic patients after medication in the form of Kanta Loha Bhasma. In this article a single case study result showing towards the anti diabetic effect in human subject.

The Advantages of Multilingualism in Building a World. This paper is aimed at describing multilingualism In India, a country known with multilingual and multicultural people. India is the most multilingual country in the world and it is the second largest country with a population of more than 17 percent of the world's population. Knowing two or more than two languages becomes the need for communication among speech communities as well as individuals. Defined as an occurrence regarding an individual speaker who uses two or more languages, multilingualism basically arises due to the need to communicate across speech communities. Multilingualism is not a rare but a normal necessity across the world due to globalization and wider cultural communication. Also it is not a recent phenomenon; it was prevalent in the ancient time also. This means that the perspective of global citizenship has achieved a remarkable achievement. There is no doubt in history that India is one of the oldest civilizations and a source of other civilizations in the world and draws the attention of researchers, and is of great importance at the global level

The genus Micromelum belongs to the Rutaceae family. As its rich bioactive constituents its stems, flowers, leaves, and roots have been used in traditional medicine, for the treatment of various diseases from ancient time. Phytochemically, many bioactive compounds, including coumarins, polyoxygenated flavonoids, phenylpropanoic acid derivatives, quinolone alkaloids, and also carbazole alkaloids, have been reported as secondary metabolites of the Micromelum spp. including many new compounds. Therefore, Micromelum spp. are considered potential for drug leads. In this article, we present an overview of secondary metabolites isolated from genus Micromelum and their bioactivities that have been reported between 1982 and 2019.

This research describes the concept of the kuttab curriculum during the ancient time and its implementation at the lembaga pendidikan kuttab al-fatih surabaya as part of the national education system. This research is qualified as a special study approach. The data is collected using interview, observation and documents. Whereas in analyzing data it uses the concept of analysis of miles and huberman, which is data reduction, data presentation and making conclusion. This research concludes that: 1. Formerly the concept of the kuttab curriculum during the ancient time was made only to wish for allah's blessing but later developed to have a social and even material aim. Also the content of its curriculum is very simple and uses a separate curriculum pattern. 2. The concept of the kuttab curriculum which is applied at the lembaga pendidikan kuttab al-fatih surabaya contains the aim and contents of the curriculum, teaching method and the system of evaluation as well. Kuttab al-fatih educational institution surabaya also uses an informal education (pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat/pkbm) in applying its educational program by creating an equivalence program in order to achieve the primary education diploma known as the package a diploma as part of the national education which is available in indonesia

There are thousands of herbs that are used in preparation of various herbal cosmetics and toiletries preparations. Day-by-day, use of herbal cosmetics and toiletries preparations are increasing as currently available cosmetics are showing unwanted effects upon prolong used. They are prepared by using different herbs or their extracts or juice derived from them. Herbal cosmetics and toiletries preparations are being used by Indian peoples and peoples from Indian sub-continental region since ancient time. They are used to improve the appearance of the skin. Herbal cosmetics are becoming more popular because they are comparatively cheaper, safe and easily available. WHO as well as AYUSH department of India, encourages the peoples to use these types of cosmetics for routine use. In the present paper, we have covered various pharmacognostic and relevant information of medicinal plants used in the cosmetics and toiletries preparations.

Ksharasutra treatment is in practice since ancient time as Sushruta has mentioned its application in Nadivrana, Arbuda and Arsha in Sushruta Samhita. It is safe, effective and economical for treatment of piles with least side effect. In this study, a patient was suffering from 3rd degree interno-external pile masses at 3, 7 and 11 o’clock with one secondary pile mass at 5 o’clock position of anal canal. All pile masses were treated with Ksharasutra ligation (KSL) under spinal anaesthesia. Post operative assessment was done daily by recording the relief observed in signs and symptoms. The ligated pile masses were cut through by 6th / 7th post operative day and resultant wounds were healed latest by 25 day uneventfully. There were some advantages observed in Ksharasutra ligation in management of 3rd degree piles which is shared in this case report
