Design and Development of a Versatile and Intelligent Home Security System

in order to improve the security of home residence, this paper studies and designs an intelligent home security alarm system, using STC89C51 single chip microcomputer as the main controller of the security system, and real-time monitoring by controlling the human pyroelectric infrared sensor and smoke sensor in the case of strangers invading the security range and showing signs of fire. Once the abnormal situation is found, the intelligent home security alarm system will start the acousto-optic alarm prompted by the LED lamp and pass through the information processing system of the GSM module. Send an abnormal text message to the user of the security system at the first time face, and finally realize the purpose of modern intelligent home security alarm.

In order to improve the security of home, an intelligent home security alarm system based on Micro-programmed Control Unit (MCU) has been designed in this paper, which can monitor the doors and windows, and communicate with intrusion alarm system by using GSM. Practical measured results indicate that this system can complete the function of home security alarm, which has a strong practical popularize value.In order to improve the security of home, an intelligent home security system based on MCU has been designed in this paper, which realizes en-mg checking, password storage, sound/short message warning service and real-time monitoring through GSM network. The hardware and software designs are illustrated in the paper. Finally, the test is carried out and the results indicate that the functions of system have achieved the design goal.

Security, be it of a small apartment or of a sophisticated, gigantic institute is of arrant concern. In metro cities in India, for a housing complex/small apartment, security personnel are generally employed for the said purpose, who may not be that efficient especially at night. This paper intends to build an “Intelligent Home Security System” based on Digital Image Processing and Speech Processing, using a Raspberry Pi. The system is divided into two sub- systems. 1. Allowing/Disallowing vehicles based on Number Plate Recognition2. Allowing/Disallowing human beings based on Face Detection and Recognition and Speech RecognitionA database of the residents of the building is prepared. It consists of a pre-recorded security code word and an image of the resident. A separate vehicular database containing the number plates of the cars is also stored in the memory.
