Edutainment shows promise as an alternative and complementary pedagogy, in autistic education, in this paper we evaluate a textual analysis of a movie Inner Healing on the edutainment and infotainment Fire Stick ++ terminal, also serving as a dock station to student keyboards and laptops, the textual analysis of this important media, in education proves the neurodiversity viewpoint in the indigenous healing diaspora, proving autism as transcending a minority culture in a viewpoint of a gift and hence a strength with the acceptance of the whole, the diversity of the self in meltdowns, irrationality, rage and anger, all as part of a gift and an acceptance of oneself, the inner healing. This edutainment is a broad deviation from current western thought streams in autism interventions as proves the holistic and alternative viewpoints.

This paper uses the method of theory synthesis, primarily from our own previous studies and psychoneuroimmunology research, with the aim of exploring and better understanding the consequences of sexual violence for women and their search for inner healing. The impact of the #MeToo movement is also examined. The main finding is that sexual violence causes persistent suffering for women and girls. In childhood and adolescence, the main consequences include a feeling of unbearable secrecy, threat and humiliation; disconnection of body and soul; great fear and constant insecurity; damaged self-image, self-accusation and guilt; experiencing being compelled to take full responsibility for the crime; as well as various physical and mental health problems, e.g., suicidal thoughts. In adulthood, the consequences are also multifaceted and varied, including vaginal problems, recurrent urinary tract infections, widespread and chronic pain, sleeping problems, chronic back problems, and fibromyalgia, eating disorders, social anxiety, severe depression, and chronic fatigue. In conclusion, sexual violence has these extremely negative and long-term consequences because of the interconnectedness of body, mind, and soul. The seriousness of the consequences makes a trauma-informed approach to services essential to support the healing and improved health and well-being of survivors.

The Lord’s Prayer has a collective and an individual sense. In a pastoral context it can lead the individual believer to inner healing, transformation, faith and redemption; with the result of a collective sense of merciful, sacrificing, restorative justice that forms a paradigm for restorative justice in a broken society. Ultimately the Lord’s Prayer ripples outwards from the supplicant’s own needs to the fulfilment of the love commandment towards God and other people. With the use of the Lord’s Prayer in the pastoral guidance process, the counselee’s attention can shift from a problem-focused attitude to a life of justice, peace and joy. The research question under investigation asks if the Lord’s Prayer can really form a paradigm for restorative justice within a situation of brokenness when it forms part of the pastoral guidance process to give structure to the mixture of emotions that the counselee experiences. The pastoral challenge lies in not limiting newly-found healing to the counselling room, but letting it result in a responsible way of life. Two main themes of the Lord’s Prayer are discussed, namely, human beings’ relationship with God, and their dependence on God for life. The main themes are related to the love commandment, which in itself aims to guide the believer to the realisation of a wider responsibility towards society in respect of merciful, sacrificing, restorative justice that heals brokenness.

This essay explores the unity and diversity of global charismatic ministries emerging from the 1990s Toronto Blessing revival, including John and Carol Arnott’s Catch the Fire Ministries (Toronto, Canada), Randy Clark’s Global Awakening (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA), and Heidi and Rolland Baker’s Iris Ministries (Pemba, Mozambique). Such practices as bodily healing, verbal evangelism, care for the poor, Bible teaching, exuberant worship, “soaking prayer,” and inner healing are held in common, while each group has some area of functional specialization. The post-Toronto movements thus do not present an archetypal, Weberian “routinization of charisma” or a global dissemination of a single, homogenized approach to Christian ministry. A common element among the groups is an insistence on an individual, inner spiritual renewal that must precede any outer work of service. Effective ministry derives from “intimacy with God.” In their diversity, vitality, and adaptability, these post-Toronto movements offer hope for reviving the worldwide charismatic renewal.

In this article the author describes the religious change that took place in the Catholic milieu of post-Soviet Lithuania. Following the arrival of global Pentecostal trends to the country a Catholic form of Pentecostalism, known as Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) also arrived. The author describes what changes the CCR brought and how the Pentecostal developments paved the way for this other movement to emerge. Dynamic developments of the CCR unexpectedly took a turn towards the discourse and practice of healing, which triggered the emergence of another movement, known as the Inner Healing Movement (IHM). Being inseparable from its Pentecostal roots the movement, nevertheless, has become a vernacular, specifically Catholic, practice which no longer seeks for the signs of Pentecostal authenticity but redefines the Pentecostal message, directing it towards healing discourses and practices.

Prayer therapy in the healing of traumatic memories. The research question in this article pertains to whether prayer has a place in recovering and healing traumatic memories during the process of inner healing. A person is often challenged at different levels because of emotional pain. For inner healing to happen, suppressed memories need to be identified and processed. In many cases the person finds it impossible to make a connection between current problems and repressed emotions. When dissociation occurs, the person cannot spontaneously recall these emotions. It is in such cases that prayer therapy may prove to be of value. During prayer ministry the counsellor acts as facilitator leading the counselee by faith into the presence of Jesus Christ for healing. On effect, the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ is continued in this way. Conquering painful, traumatic memories in this manner will help the person to grow spiritually and recover emotionally.
