The Sister Mary Joseph Nodule is an eponymous term which describes a palpable umbilical nodule occurring as a result of metastasis of an intra-abdominal or pelvic malignancy. In approximately 50% of cases, this sign is associated with gastrointestinal malignancies. These include gastric, colonic and pancreatic (mainly body and tail) carcinoma. Gastrointestinal malignancy is found in 52% of the metastatic cases and gynecologic and genitourinary origin in 28%, with gastric and ovarian cancers being the most common. The next report is about a 62 year-old woman whose was referred to the surgery department due a painful mass on the abdominal wall that has appeared 3 months before as a fast-growing, with suspicious diagnosis of strangulated umbilical hernia.

Echinococcosis is a zoonotic disease commonly known, as hydatid disease is endemic in India and mostly caused by Echinococcus granulosus. Hydatid cyst most commonly involves liver followed by lungs with a frequency of 60% and 20–30% respectively. Rarely, it can primarily involve pelvic organs in females such as uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes etc. either separately or sometimes together, which may mimic malignancy and create diagnostic dilemma. Till date, around 30 case reports of primary fallopian tube hydatid disease are reported, however none of them mentioned bilateral involvement. Herein, we report a case of bilateral fallopian tubal hydatid disease in a 45-years-old female presented with a 4 months history of lower abdominal pain and abdominal distension with review of literature

Bladder hematoma is a rare complication but also an unusual mechanical cause of obstructed labour, whose incidence in India is 1-2%. The most common reason for intraluminal urinary bladder hematoma is trauma, but it can occur with cystitis, pelvic malignancy and irradiation. A large hematoma may mimic a neoplastic mass on imaging. We reported a first case of bladder hematoma as a cause or result of obstructed labour in a multipara where the diagnosis was made intraoperatively. This bladder complication also became the indication for classical caesarean section, the technique which is almost obsolete nowadays, where the indication for classical caesarean section was obligatory.
