3D city models integrate heterogeneous urban data from multiple sources in a unified geospatial representation, combining both semantics and geometry. Although in the last decades, they are predominantly used for visualization, today they are used in a large range of tasks related to exploration, analysis, and management across multiple domains. The complexity of urban processes and the diversity of urban environment bring challenges to the implementation of 3D city models. To address such challenges, this paper presents the development process of a 3D city model of a single neighborhood in Sofia city based on CityGML 2.0 standard. The model represents the buildings in LOD1 with a focus on CityGML features of related to the buildings like building part, terrain intersection curve and address. Similar building models of 18 cities provided as open datasets are explored and compared in order to extract good modeling practices. As a result, workflows for generation of 3D building models in LOD1 are elaborated and improvements in the feature modeling are proposed. Two options of building model are examined: modeling of a building as a single solid and modeling of a building with separate building parts. Finally, the possibilities for visualization of the model in popular platforms such as ArcGIS Pro and Cesium Ion are explored.

Ammonia known as harmful gas that could impact on health and environment. Typically, ammonia gas emitted by fertilizer industry, rubber factory, etc. There are many options for advance industry to control ammonia gas pollution, absorption tower using water scrubber and using activated carbon as adsorption reaction could be an option. But for middle- and lower-class industry, it is common in Indonesia, as seen on many rubber factories, ammonia gas pollution is serious problem to control, actually they have used wet scrubber but eficiency is lower about 47%. This study measure performance for ammonia elimination as gas pollutant using absorption tower and adsorption tower in laboratory scale. Using electrochemical gas sensor, we measure both ammonia concentration for inlet and outlet simultaneously to settle saturation point of these two types of ammonia emission control. In conclusion, Ammonia absorbed in water proportional to saturation time and absorbent volume. Highest absorbed ammonia concentration 1.538 mg/L on 4000 mL absorbent. For Adsorption system, saturation time proportional and correlated to adsorbent weight and Adsorption capacity reverse correlated to adsorbent weight. Optimum adsorption point can be achieved from intersection curve between saturation time and adsorption capacity which is 1200 grams adsorbent

The aim of this paper is to study the differential geometric properties of the intersection curve of two parametric surfaces in Euclidean n-space. For this aim, we first present the mth order derivative formula of a curve lying on a parametric surface. Then, we obtain curvatures and Frenet vectors of the transversal intersection curve of two parametric surfaces in Euclidean n-space. We also provide computer code produced in MATLAB to simplify determining the coefficients relative to Frenet frame of higher order derivatives of a curve.

AbstractThe paper proposes to establish the intersection curve and the unfoldings of three cylinders. The intersection of the curves was determined by the classical method, using the AutoCAD program, and the unfolded surfaces were realized by analytical methods. For this the Mathematica program was used.

Abstract The descriptive geometry constitues the foundation of the engineering sciences, so necessary to the specialists of this field. The aim of this paper is to establish the intersection curve between two cylinders and their unfoldings, by using the programmes:AutoCAD and Mathematica. We used the classical method and we first establish the intersection curve and then the cylinders unfoldings. To do this, we used the AutoCAD program. The same unfoldings can be obtained by introducing directly the curve equations (which are inferred) in Mathematica program.
