This paper proposes for the development of a path-loss model to improve the accuracy in predicting the signal level in office locations for the reception of FM broadcast. Identifying the factors that affect the signal level and eventually developing a model to predict the signal inside buildings will guide engineers in designing a broadcast system. A properly designed broadcast system will ensure optimum signal penetration in these listening areas. Further, the developed model can find applications in policy-making on the regulation of FM broadcast stations, both for analog and digital radio systems. Signal level measurements from three FM broadcast stations have been made inside eight office rooms in De La Salle University-Manila. With the three stations utilizing circularly polarized transmitting antennas, the measurements aim to determine the signal levels of the horizontal and vertical components of the received signal. These measured levels are used to determine the effects on the magnitude of the received signal of some factors, such as signal frequency and polarization, receiving antenna height, walls, transmitter-receiver distance, etc. Since the developed model is based on the measured signal levels in the actual office environment, its accuracy is then better than any of the existing models earlier developed.

Cognitive networks were developed to solve the current challenges in wireless networking by using established wireless spectrum because of the limited bandwidth available and the inefficiency of spectrum use. The CN with the fundamental ability of cognitive radio provides the spectrum-conscious model of wireless connections. This research provides a concept in a functional web environment to incorporate CRNs. The algorithm for the cluster head facilitates communication between secondary users, improves spectrum hole identification and thus allows spectrum use more effective. The developed spectrum analysis scheme was evaluated using the current measuring method on four radio technology (FM Broadcast, GSM-900 DL, DCS-1800 DL and UHF TV). The efficiency of radio technology networks was found to be very close. The CR signal strength varies while the signal power and the SIR are monitored continuously. The computation results show a substantial improvement of the PU’s throughput from 19.6 to 61.1%. The efficiency of power has been increased from 76.66% to 86.82% for FM Broadcast, 76.91% to 86.82% for GSM-900, 78.19% to 89.04% for DCS-1800 and 78% to 88.55% for UHF TV. The lower the interference, the better reception of the signal of the secondary users. The best signal response was at 12decibel, and the interference was able to reduce from 95% to 25%.

Radio community  is one of the broadcasting institutions which legalized the existence of Broadcasting Law No.32 of 2002. According to Broadcasting Law No. 32 of 2002 article 13, providers of broadcast services (television and radio). The problem is how the role of the Dwijendra Radio Community 107.7 FM Broadcast Local Wisdom of Bali, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of community radio as a medium for the development of local wisdom broadcasts. This research is descriptive qualitative, the subject of this research is the person in charge of broadcasting local wisdom broadcasts, data collection techniques are done by interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the role of community radio as an educational medium is manifested in the form of broadcast programs that elevate local culture, manifested through broadcast programs that are arranged and presented in a creatively packaged program. The local wisdom broadcast of Radio Community Dwijendra 107.7 fm is an event Gegitaan. Where the event was broadcast during the daytime 12.05-14.00 wita.
