The article is devoted to the analysis of the actual online television and online media form of interactive transmission - interview-confrontation. On the basis of the analysis of the most popular programs based on this type of interview, we determine its genre identity, functional and compositional features, analyze the specifics of the questions. Relied on the content analysis method, the comparative-typological and historical-functional methods, conclusions are drawn about the widespread representation of interview confrontations both on traditional TV and in the sphere of network video blogging. It is emphasized that the peculiarity of the announcement of the topic in the interview is in focusing the negative attitude of the host to the position of the respondent, which is also reflected in the main part in confrontational, concretizing, programming, provocative and other forms of questions.

This paper describes two prototype applications based on Virtual Reality (VR) technology for use in construction and maintenance planning of buildings. The first, applied to construction, is an interactive virtual model designed to present plans three-dimensionally (3D), connecting them to construction planning schedules, resulting in a valuable asset to the monitoring of the development of construction activity. The 4D application considers the time factor showing the 3D geometry of the different steps of the construction activity, according to the plan established for the construction. A second VR model was created in order to help in the maintenance of exterior closures of walls in a building. It allows the visual and interactive transmission of information related to the physical behavior of the elements. To this end, the basic knowledge of material most often used in facades, anomaly surveillance, techniques of rehabilitation, and inspection planning were studied. This information was included in a database that supports the periodic inspection needed in a program of preventive maintenance. This work brings an innovative contribution to the field of construction and maintenance supported by emergenttechnology

Interactive television (iTV) can be defined as the result of the process of convergence between television and the new interactive digital technologies (Pagani, 2000a; 2000b; 2003). Interactive television is basically domestic television boosted by interactive functions that are usually supplied through a ‘back channel.’ The distinctive feature of interactive television is the possibility that the new digital technologies give the user to interact with the content that is on offer (Flew, 2002; Owen, 1999; Pagani, 2000a; 2000b; 2003). The evolution towards interactive television has not an exclusively technological, but also a profound impact on the whole economic system of digital broadcaster—from offer types to consumption modes, and from technological and productive structures to business models. This article attempts to analyze how the addition of interactivity to television brings fundamental changes to the broadcasting industry. The article first defines interactive transmission systems and classifies the different services offered according to the level of interactivity determined by two fundamental factors such as response time and return channel band. After defining the conceptual framework and the technological dimension of the phenomenon, the study analyzes the new types of interactive services offered. The Interactive Digital Television (iDTV) value chain will be discussed to give an understanding of the different business elements involved.
