The anodic behavior of CrSi2 electrode in 0,5 M H2SO4, 0,5 M HClO4, 0,5 M HNO3 and 0,5 M HCl solutions has been studied by the methods of polarization, capacitance, and impedance measurements. It has been concluded that in the process of anodic oxidation at potentials from corrosion E to transpassivation E inclusive, an oxide film is formed on the surface of chromium disilicide in the studied media, which is close in composition to SiO2 (with a small content of chromium oxides). The presence of this film on the silicide surface determines its high chemical resistance in the studied solutions. The thickness of the oxide film on CrSi2 has been calculated depending on the potential and composition of the electrolyte. The growth constant of the oxide film has been determined.

The electronic state and character of exchange interactions of nickel and chromium atoms in solid solutions of Bi5Nb3-3xМ3xO15-δ (М-Cr,Ni) was researched by methods of magnetic susceptibility and NEXAFS-spectroscopy. NEXAFS spectra of nickel and chromium oxides were obtained. According to X-ray spectroscopy in solid solutions, chromium atoms are mainly in the charge state of Cr(III), and nickel atoms in the high-spin state of Ni(II) in octahedral coordination. In solid solutions, paramagnetic chromium and nickel atoms are present in the form of monomers and clusters with a common antiferromagnetic type of exchange

The article considers issues related to the choice of abrasive material and technology of its use for the formation of necessary roughness on the base material and necessary heat resistance of the heat-protective coating during plasma spraying. The influence of the shape and size of the abrasive on final roughness of the treated surface was studied at various angles of contact between the sprayed abrasive and the surface (angle of attack). From the condition of maximum heat resistance, the composition of the heat-resistant composite coating of the spinel type was determined, which consists of 3 layers: the 1st layer (sublayer) material is a chromium-aluminum composite and the 2nd layer of a transitional spinel-based aluminum and chromium oxide + chromium-aluminum composite and the 3rd a layer of spinel based on aluminum and chromium oxides.
