Abstract The stability and robustness of lightly and highly doped poly-Si resistors were evaluated. These resistors exhibited distinct electrical resistance properties and temperature dependences, which can be explained through the grain and grain boundary conduction mechanisms. The resistance shift saturated under the low current stress condition, but continued to increase under the high current stress condition. A novel carrier trapping density model was proposed to explain this behavior. A generalized free energy model that considered stress temperature and stress current dependences was proposed to account for the stability lifetime of a poly-Si resistor based on the resistance shift criterion. Robustness evaluation with transmission line pulse test revealed that the breakdown current exhibited a pulse width dependence which was further explained by a thermal- conduction energy model.

To solve the problems of large current stress, difficult soft-switching of all switches, and slow dynamic response of dual active bridge converters, a multi-objective unified optimal control strategy based on triple-phase-shift control was proposed. The forward power flow global modes of triple-phase-shift control were analyzed, and three high-efficiency modes were selected to establish the analytical models of current stress and soft-switching. Combined with these models, the optimal solutions in different modes were derived by using the cost function-optimization equation to overcome the limitation of the Lagrange multiplier method, such that the DAB converter achieved the minimum current stress, and all switches operated in the soft-switching state over the entire power range. At the same time, the virtual power component was introduced in the phase-shift ratio combination, which improved the dynamic response of output voltage under the input voltage or load steps changed by power control. The theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can optimize the performance of the DAB converter from three aspects, such as current stress, soft-switching, and dynamic response, which achieves multi-objective optimization of the steady-state and dynamic performance of DAB converters.

The current stress of Earth's crust in the territory of Uzbekistan has been studied using a focal earthquake mechanisms catalogue that includes the data provided by many authors. Stress reconstructions are based on the cataclastic analysis of displacements along fractures. For reconstructing the stress state at different depths of the crust in several seismically active regions of the study area, we consider a minimum number of earthquakes in a homogeneous sample equal to 6 and an averaging radius of 10 to 30 km within a single domain. The azimuths and dip angles of the principal stress axes, Lode – Nadai coefficients, geodynamic types of stress modes, relative (normalized to rock strength) values of maximum shear stresses, and effective pressure values are determined. Maps showing the spatial distribution of the studied parameters are constructed for both the entire seismically active layer and the depth layers. Stress fields are reconstructed and compared at two hierarchical levels based on the parameters of focal mechanisms of weak and moderate earthquakes (М≤4.5) and those of strong (М≥5.0) earthquakes. "Tectonic Stresses of Eurasia", the Internet resource created by IPE RAS, is used to visualize the stress field reconstructed from the data on strong (М≥5.0) earthquakes.
