The relevance of electricity generation from renewable energy sources is growing every day in the current global energy environment. The scarcity of fossil fuels and the environmental risks connected with traditional power producing methods are the main reasons behind this. The major sources of non-conventional energy are wind and solar which can be harnessed easily. A new system design for hybrid photovoltaic and wind-power generation is introduced within this study. A Modified M.P.P.T. has been proposed to strengthen productivity of this system. The proposed approach employs the Incremental Conductance (IC) MPPT technique. Under varied climatic conditions (Solar irradiance & Temperature), IC is utilized to determine the optimum voltage output of a photo voltaic generator (P.V.G.) within the photo voltaic system (P.V.) structure. The Incremental Conductance is utilized to manage the converter’s technology having boosting function. The P.M.S.G. is used to determine the maximum voltage output for varied wind flow rates in wind turbine system. Simulations are conducted in Matlab2019b to test efficacy of the proposed MPPT. The proposed scheme’s effectiveness can be supported with simulation results.

Abstract Photo-voltaic inverts usually use LCL filter for filtering, and LCL filter will bring resonance problems to the system. This paper focuses on invert-er side current feedback control (invert-er side current feedback, ICF). This paper proposes a method for suppressing resonance of photo-voltaic invert-er clusters based on capacitor voltage feed-forward. First, establish the ICF mathematical model based on HPF and CVF under the weak grid, qualitatively analyze the resonance mechanism of the cluster invert-er, then analyze the system control structure and stability according to the proposed method, and finally verify the effectiveness of the proposed method through simulation and experiment sexuality and correctness.

Hybrid energy generation which includes both wind and solar energy has grown exponentially in latest years, and this will continue. Power quality problems such as voltage-swells, voltage-sags, harmonic components, power factor, and inadequate voltage control are caused by intermittent various exposures and the incorporation of wind-turbine and Photo-voltaic power generating systems with the grid. A Static Compensator (STATCOM) is employed to enhance power-quality. The power quality enhancement method for grid-connected wind-turbine and photo voltaic power plants employing STATCOM is introduced in this paper.  The framework of the proposed methodology describes in order to improve the transient voltage stability of the large-scale wind / solar hybrid system, the STATCOM reactive power compensation device is connected to the grid.   The compensator is offered to further improve output parameters such as voltage THD, current THD and active power.

Abstract Perovskite solar cells have attracted the attention of the researchers in the last couple of years as a potential photovoltaic device. However, the use of expensive hole transport materials (HTM) in these devices often restricts their commercial adaptability. Thus exploring cost-effective, efficient HTL and ETL materials remain an important challenge to the researchers. In this work, simulation studies are carried out considering cupric oxide (CuO), a relatively inexpensive material as hole transport materials for planar heterojunction perovskite solar cells. The photo-voltaic performance of CuO based hole transport layer (HTL) has been estimated in combination with several electron transport materials (ETM) that include TiO2,SnO2,ZnO, CdS, ZnSe,PCBM and Cd1-xZnxS. Studies predict that among these materials, the Cd1-xZnxS electron transport layer (ETL) could be the most promising to result high photo-voltaic efficiency in combination to CuO based HTL. Also, the thickness and optical band gap of perovskite absorber are optimized in order to achieve maximum photo-voltaic efficiency. The cell efficiency of FTO / Cd1-xZnxS/CH3NH3PbI3/CuO/carbon structure is predicted 25.24% under optimized operational conditions with Voc, Jsc and Fill Factor of 1.1eV,26.32mA/cm2 and 87.14% respectively.
