In the midst of an investigation to perform bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), we were faced with the need to search for optimally adjusted electrodes to perform reading in small biological samples. The best option to carry out these readings is the well-known gold microelectrodes; however, these are very expensive for our research purposes. For this reason, we found an alternative using Accu-Chek Performa test strips as reading microelectrodes due to their low cost and ease of disposal. This article contains an in-depth detail of the components of the Accu-Chek Performa test strip and the process that was used so that they could be suitable for taking measurements on biological material. In addition, a measurement scheme is shown in conclusion to the operation of the test strip as a microelectrode and the possible problems to consider if it is to be used for future research.

Abstract The two-point measurement and no-measurement schemes are reviewed briefly. The quantum thermodynamics of a driven harmonic oscillator and a two-level atom in an external light field are investigated in the framework of the no-measurement scheme. The work distribution functions and the modified quantum Jarzynski theorem are obtained and discussed.

Abstract The deployment of virtual network function (VNF) in the container can realize the 5G service-based architecture (SBA) with high flexibility. The container carrying the VNF has poor isolation and low protection capabilities, and there is a security risk of being tampered and replaced. Current security protection technologies such as access control, intrusion detection, and virus detection cannot ensure that the container is not illegally modified. In order to fundamentally protect the integrity of containerized VNFs, this paper proposes a containerized VNF trust measurement scheme container integrity measurement (CIM). The scheme extends the chain of trust to bare metal containers and virtual machine containers, and experiments are carried out in a containerized VNF communication environment. The results show that the integrity measurement protection scheme is effective. Compared with ordinary containers, the average CPU usage of trusted containers has increased by 26%, and the average memory usage growth rate is less than 1%, the performance overhead caused by CIM is acceptable.

Abstract Almost all existing studies on inter-satellite radio frequency (RF) measurement have focused on two-satellite formations. Although some frequency division multiple access and code division multiple access multisatellite RF measurement schemes have been proposed, their poor scalability does not satisfy the inter-satellite measurement requirements of multisatellite formations, especially large-scale formations. Two-way ranging (TWR), which is based on a time division mechanism, is an effective solution that has been used for inter-satellite links in the global positioning system and Beidou navigation constellations. However, the high measurement accuracy achieved with TWR in these navigation constellations is heavily reliant on high-performance atomic clocks and the assistance of navigation ephemeris, which are not available on microsatellite platforms. This work focuses on a scalable multisatellite measurement scheme that adopts a distributed broadcast-based time division multiple access mechanism as the media access control layer and uses an asymmetric double-side TWR method as the physical layer. The measurement performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated through in-depth theoretical modeling, simulation verification, and experimental validation, along with a comprehensive comparison with the conventional TWR method. The experimental results show that centimeter-level measurement accuracy can be achieved with the proposed scheme when only a common miniaturized frequency source is used. This accuracy level is two orders of magnitude better than that of the TWR method, and thus satisfies the application requirements of general large-scale microsatellite formations.
