AbstractA highly dispersive, diffractive optical element is designed and realized for an extremely high spectral resolution spectroscopy for exoplanet telescope application. Our design uses an annular Fresnel hologram to transform incident starlight directly into a spectrogram. The recording of the hologram is accomplished using two spherical waves of different radius of curvature. The resultant hologram consists of an annular grating structure with a gradually shrinking period as a function of increasing radius. The variable period not only could bring the incoming star-light into focus, but also exhibits a large on-axis chromatic behavior. We demonstrate a dispersion of wavelength 430–700 nm over 190 mm on-axis distance, leading to a super fine spectral resolution 0.0266 nm at wavelength 515 nm for a detector size of 20 µm.

This study aims to determine what factors can affect the realization of Sharia KPR financing at BTN Syariah Bekasi. The variables used in this study consist of financing period, fixed margin and financing frequency. This research is quantitative in nature using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population in this study were all customers who carried out KPR Syariah financing at BTN Syariah Bekasi with a sample size of 100 customers. Sampling using probability sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used is the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the t test and the F test. While the data processing in this study used the SPSS 25 program. From the hypothesis test using the t test, it is found that the variable period of financing has a positive but insignificant effect, while the variable margin and frequency of financing have a positive and significant effect on the realization of Islamic mortgage financing Based on the F test (simultaneous), the results show that the variable period of financing, fixed margins and frequency of financing jointly affect the realization of Sharia KPR financing.

AbstractMolluscum contagiosum (MC) is a benign skin condition having peculiar pearly white or pink lesions. This is considered to be a very contagious disease, common in children of low socioeconomic group. Conventionally, local removal of lesions is the primary choice of treatment, commonly cryotherapy. This is a report of three cases suffering from MC for a variable period, treated with individualised homoeopathic treatment. The rationale of this report reflects the effective management of such cases with homoeopathy.

Tumours can be either benign or malignant. A first difference is that the primary malignant tumour infiltrates the surrounding tissue while, with very few exceptions, the benign tumours do not infiltrate. The second and main one is that, by definition, the malignant tumours are able to produce metastatic lesions in other organs. Finally, metastases can declare themselves even after period of years from the appearance of the first lesion. This is because of the third property of the malignant cells i.e. their ability to spread and then do not immediately grow into a detectable metastasis, but to be ‘dormant’ for a variable period.
