The primary purpose of this paper is to present a system intended for student education based on a microcontroller platform and a cloud system where data will be stored. Obtained research results will be based on the application of The NodeMcu platform for data collection with sensor systems. MatLab, ThingSpeak cloud system, and the Virtuino platform will be used for data presentation. Quantitative data are applied to determine conditions for agriculture system performance management. By analyzing the literature and the current situation in monitoring and managing in the agriculture and ecology field, it can be concluded that there are no special education courses regarding these issues. This knowledge was a good starting point for the research presented in this paper. Accordingly, the findings include developing a monitoring and management system intended for student education in mentioned fields. In addition, the practical implications of this research includes the acquisition of information related to student satisfaction with this method of education in the courses of engineering, agriculture, and ecology. The presented system may enable benchmarking, simulation, and verification of different scenarios to improve students’ knowledge regarding sensors’ application in natural conditions. The originality of the research lies in the presented software solution that can be made available to educational institutions and other scientific institutions to serve as a basis in the overall monitoring and management of agricultural and ecology parameters.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to describe addiction's effect on the quality of student education during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This research is a literature study with a qualitative approach. The results show that during the Covid-19 outbreak, game data usage is reported to have increased worldwide, and download volume games have reached highs record in Asia, including Indonesia. This is caused by games used to cope with the psychological stress caused by the outbreak. Traditional games that were once popular have been replaced by new games such as online video games. Stakeholders should be aware of how addiction increases to online games, especially during a pandemic, and can contribute to the risk of disruption to the quality of student learning, especially if the pandemic continues. The government must formulate alternative ways to avoid online game addiction during the Covid-19 pandemic for people, especially teenagers, which can interfere with the quality of their education.

Plagiarism is non-academic behavior and a gross violation of academic integrity. Students, as members of the academic community, should respect the principles of academic conduct. They should not engage in plagiarism, but condemn it. However, plagiarism is present, so it is necessary to consider the causes of this phenomenon in order to prevent it. This paper presents the results of a research, whose goal was to determine the degree of knowledge, the need for education and the way of educating students about plagiarism and the rules of academic writing. In order to understand the problem of plagiarism and to prevent it, surveys of both students and teachers’ opinions were conducted. The research showed that students are partially familiar with the concept and types of plagiarism and academic writing, and that there is a need for them to gain more knowledge or expand their knowledge on these topics. Two models of student education were proposed: through a specific subject of academic writing or organizing various seminars, workshops, courses, or similar.
