These days, guardians are concerned about the school-going youngsters on account of the expanding number of instances of missing students. The parents or guardians must patiently wait for the arrival of school transportation. The use of private vehicles aggravates the current terrible deadlock and many of the guardians consider that school transport is usually dangerous for their children. This task presents the improvement of a school transport observing framework, fit for offering profitable types of assistance through arising advances like Arduino regulator. By using geo location capabilities, our proposed Arduino regulator has the capability to provide the location of children. The proposed system employs the client-server architecture. To save the waiting time of parents, the software developed allows parents to detect the exact location of the school bus via geo location and informs them when the school bus reaches a nearby place. Admin, Driver, and Parents are the three modules included in this framework. The system allocates transportation and its related components space on Google Maps is refreshed by Cloud workers and viewable to administrators. The most up-to-date information of the bus in the form of time and location can be received by parents.

Reducing the time for multiplying matrices of large dimensions is an urgent task, since it finds application in many application areas. One of the ways to solve it is distributed computing based on the use of client-server architectures. The article proposes to expand the functional capabilities of an earlier developed subsystem for distributed design of VLSI, also built using a client-server architecture (CSA). Based on the formulated fundamental principles of dividing matrices into blocks depending on a given number of processors, a partitioning algorithm has been developed and an estimate of its complexity has been given. The results of simulation modeling of multiplication of matrices of large dimensions are presented, which confirmed the possibility of expanding the KSA functional for distributed design of VLSI.

Free and open source software (FOSS) differs from proprietary software. FOSS facilitates the design of various applications per the user's requirement. Web applications are not exceptional in this way. Web-based applications are mostly based on client server architecture. This article is an analytical study of FOSS products used in web-based client server architecture. This article will provide information about FOSS product such as FireFox (web browser), Apache (web server) and MySQL (RDBMS). These reveal that various FOSS products such as Apache server covers 65% of the market share, while MySQL covers 58.7% market share and hold the top-most rank.

This article is devoted to the issue of designing an augmented reality information system with a «client-server» architecture. The advantage of creating augmented reality information systems with type of architecture is the ability to quickly place content on a remote server and then display it through a client mobile application. Thus, a simplified user’s interaction with augmented reality content is provided. The work reflects the main stages of designing an information system with the specified type of architecture.

This article discusses some aspects of a client-server architecture system designed to process radar images. It is assumed that data obtained remotely are processed to determine oil pollution on the water surface. The synthesis of monochrome images and the infological model of the system are considered. The developed application provides the ability to preview the image, forming a graphic file from satellite data; implements functions that allow you to annotate images, marking areas of interest and adding comments; implements, if necessary, an algorithm for merging monochrome images; implements a keyword support system that allows flexible categorization of all images; provides the necessary level of information security through the separation of user rights and authorization systems. The developed software product allows access to files stored in the GIS database archive in real time simultaneously by a large number of users, i.e. represents its network (web) application. The software product contains three levels: a user interface on a client browser, a web application, and a database server.

Electronic health records (EHRs) have become a popular method to store and manage patients’ data in hospitals. Sharing these records makes the current healthcare data management system more accurate and cost-efficient. Currently, EHRs are stored using the client/server architecture by which each hospital retains the stewardship of the patients’ data. The records of a patient are scattered among different hospitals using heterogeneous database servers. These limitations constitute a burden towards a personalized healthcare, when it comes to offering a cohesive view and a shared, secure and private access to patients’ health history for multiple allied professionals and the patients. The data availability, privacy and security characteristics of the blockchain have a propitious future in the healthcare presenting solutions to the complexity, confidentiality, integrity, interoperability and privacy issues of the current client/server architecture-based EHR management system. This paper analyzes and compares the performance of the blockchain and the client/server paradigms. The results reveal that notable performance can be achieved using blockchain in a patient-centric approach. In addition, the immutable and valid patients’ data in the blockchain can aid allied health professionals in better prognosis and diagnosis support through machine learning and artificial intelligence.
