All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review: A group of reviewers with good reputation of international publication were assigned to review the manuscripts of ICOSAE 2020 using Konfrenzi Automated Conference System. Prior to the review process, all the reviewers were briefed by Prof. Ade Gafar Abdullah on a virtual meeting regarding the reviewing process. As many as 10 reviewers were then eligible in which each was sent 7 – 10 papers through the submission system. They were given two weeks to finish their review process and given a certain amount of incentive once they finish their task. After the deadline, the reviewed manuscripts were sent to the participants (authors) using the system through their personal account. The authors were given two weeks to revise their manuscripts and send them back to the committee using their account. Papers whose revision was in accordance with the reviewers’ comments went into final editing process (paper template layout checking, proofreading, etc.) and those which need further revision went into the second round of review process. All the manuscripts and other required data were submitted to IOP after they passed final editing. • Conference submission management system: Konfrenzi Automated Conference System • Number of submissions received: 99 • Number of submissions sent for review: 98 • Number of submissions accepted: 81 • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 81/99 x 100 = 81.8% • Average number of reviews per paper: 3 • Total number of reviewers involved: 10 • Any additional info on review process: • Name and affiliation of the contact Ade Gafar Abdullah PT Rumah Publikasi Indonesia Jl. he objective of this study is to investigate the effects of using zoom conference system on students’ speaking skill. This research is classified into pre-experimental research that uses one group pre-test and post-test. In the one group pre-test and post-test design, a single group is measured or observed not only after being treatment, but also before the treatment. The data of this research analyzed by using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS, version 24.0) where the data of this study include quantitative data, namely students speaking skill on pre-test and post-test. Therefore, the data are analyzed by using descriptive statistic, while to test the hypothesis, the researcher used Paired Sample t-test to draw the conclusion whether or not it is accepted. The finding revealed that Zoom conferencing strategy has a noteworthy impact on students’ Speaking Skill. The probability value (p value) is less than the level of significant which p value is 0.000 < 0.05 (alpha value). Means, there is difference mean score on pre-test and post-test in experimental class.

Access to hospitals has been dramatically restricted during the COVID 19 pandemic. As a result, the patients were unable to communicate with their families other than through virtual communication channels. A still significant number of patients, which do not have access to modern videoconference tools, were completely isolated. As a result, the University Hospitals of Geneva decided to implement a Visio conference system inside their patient app ecosystem to allow every patient to remain connected. This article presents the iterative development of the solution in order to respond to the specific timely constraint of the situations as well as its evaluation by the patients and caregivers. Two iterations of the tool have been developed. The first relied on an existing commercial platform whereas the second is a fully integrated solution in our patient app ecosystem. The very positive evaluation at the first stage by more than 300 patients, relatives and caregivers convinced us to invest additional effort to provide a fully integrated solution. The second version, evaluated by 16 patients, confirmed that the Visio reaches its objective of reducing isolation during hospitalization. This initiative is completely in line with the objective of the hospital of providing human centered care.

Due to the current epidemiological situation, the issue of organizing e-learning has become more important than ever. At one point, all educational organizations faced many problems that no one had thought about before. How to organize full-time training on a completely distance basis? What technologies will enable this transition? And most importantly: how to maintain the quality of education in such difficult conditions? In this paper, the authors describe how they themselves answered these questions and what solutions have been implemented at the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University).
