Abstract With the increasing demands of power quality monitoring and management, the problem of harmonic measurement error caused by the widespread operation of capacitor voltage transformers (CVT) in high-voltage power grids has been unavoidable. This paper analyses the influence of environmental factors on harmonic measurement error of CVT, and proposes a new method for analysing the harmonic measurement errors of operating CVT, which explains the unstable phenomenon of CVT measurement errors based on field comparison test, and provides a progressing screening method of effective analysis data. the CVT harmonic error characteristic analysis method proposed in this paper considers the impact of field installation conditions, electromagnetic environment, and other actual operating environment, which can reflect the actual harmonic error characteristics of CVT in field operation. A CVT harmonic measurement system is established based on the proposed method. The validation and effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated on a field measurements of 1000kV CVT in Shandong Province.

This paper presents the development of an automated tool called QuEEN PyService, aimed to the extraction of events voltage signals from the QuEEN distribution network monitoring system database, for advanced Power Quality analysis. The application has allowed the integration of the DELFI classifier (DEep Learning for False voltage dips Identification), recently developed by RSE, making it possible for the first time the intensive validation of the latter on a large number of voltage dips. Thanks to this tool, a comparison between the performance of DELFI and those of an older criterion based on the 2nd voltage harmonic measurement has been performed using data recorded by 61 measurement units in the period 2015-2020 The analysis has been focused on traditional PQ voltage dips counting indices as N2a e N3b. Results show that the usage of the DELFI classifier increases the N2a and the N3b by respectively the 20.6 % and 38.8% with respect to the QuEEN criterion.

Power Quality Monitor has an important role for utility and engineers in recent years. In this review, we are studying to remove the disturbance that produce in power supply system which is used in residential and industrial appliances. It is very necessary that reduce the harmonic the power supply system for increase the working life of electrical system equipments.

The harmonics assessment in every industry is necessary for the reliability and quality of the product. In this paper the harmonic measurement in a printing industry, which is done by the instrument in accordance with IEC 61000-4-7 is presented. The harmonics level in various circuit conditions considered and explained in this paper. The permitted level of which are verified with IEEE 519 - 1992 and the richness of the harmonics are highlighted. The Total Harmonics Distortion and Individual Harmonics Distortion are measured at specified locations in the consumer distribution network with four different circuit conditions. The power factor varaiation due to change in the circuits also highlighted in this paper. This paper gives wide scope for readers to understand the typicality of the harmonics pattern and it's interaction with consumer distribution network
