<p>Las celebraciones con motivo del centenario del nacimiento de Joseph Beuys en su país natal, Alemania, han estado acompañadas por aquella polarización que marcó la recepción de su obra. Enseguida presentamos un análisis de la discusión suscitada con motivo de su exposición retrospectiva, celebrada en el Museo Guggenheim de Nueva York al final de 1979 y principios de 1980. Nuestro objetivo es mostrar que la obra de este artista se convirtió en el terreno de discusión sobre la vigencia de la idea de vanguardia en las prácticas artísticas al final de los setenta e inicios de los años ochenta en Estados Unidos y Alemania, es decir, en los años en que recomposición del capitalismo generaron la percepción de que las energías utópicas, características de la modernidad, se habían agotado. Para ello revisaremos los argumentos de autores como Hans Magnus Enzensberger, Jürgen Habermas, Andreas Huyssen, Benjamin H. D. Buchloh, Rosalind Krauss, Hal Foster y Peter Bürger, quienes desde diferentes espacios reflexivos y lugares de enunciación participaron en el debate.</p>

The article “Hans Magnus Enzensberger – Master of Literary Vignettes” is dedicated to the latest book of the outstanding German poet and publicist “Masters of Survival: 99 Literary Vignettes of the 20th Century”, published on the occasion of the author’s 90th anniversary. It presents 99 literary portraits in the characteristic style of Enzensberger – from critical attitude to admirable praise. The article first describes the vignette as a special genre of literature (miniature literature), its meaning, and history. Several examples from the history of German and Austrian literature are mentioned: Stefan Zweig, Robert Walser, Franz Kafka, Robert Musil. All objects in Enzensberger’s literary vignettes are “masters of survival” – they are writers and poets between the First and Second World Wars. The article qualifies the critical performance of Marko Martin, Helmut Böttiger, Christian Metz, and Alexander Cammann in evaluating Enzensberger’s work. The style of Enzensberger is also characterised. It surprises the reader by bringing the personal, subjective aspect closer to various intimate facts from the lives of writers and poets. The most significant attention is paid to the representatives of German literature – Gottfried Benn, Gerhart Hauptmann, Johannes R. Becher, and others.

At the margins of media and organization studies, the copy machine has occasionally appeared as an agent of media change in various forms: as technology of empowerment, as technology of control, as alternative technology to letterpress printing, and as transitional technology leading to the computer. This chapter discusses first how Marshall McLuhan, Hans Magnus Enzensberger, James R. Beniger, Jean Baudrillard, and Lisa Gitelman contributed to a media theory of the copy machine. Based on historical documents, it then analyses the history of the development of the copy machine and its uses in libraries, administration, business, education, and social movements. While photocopiers in libraries undermined the authors’ copyrights privileges, those in state administration challenged the internal power structures in bureaucracy.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar as PMDs produzidas por estudantes do 9º ano, considerando que a produção de vídeos é o tipo mais comum de Performance Matemática Digital. Trata-se de uma intervenção pedagógica desenvolvida com 24 estudantes, de uma escola pública de Rio Grande/RS, os quais, em grupo, deveriam produzir um vídeo inspirados na obra O Diabo dos Números, escrita pelo alemão Hans Magnus Enzensberger, para todas as pessoas que têm medo de Matemática. Os estudantes produziram quatro (4) vídeos, os quais foram analisados sob a ótica da Teoria Fundamentada. Também, os estudantes fizeram registros sobre a experiência no portfólio virtual (grupo fechado no Facebook), sendo que esses registros foram apresentados em uma nuvem de palavras. Os estudantes gostaram de produzir os vídeos e também relataram que começaram a perceber a Matemática de maneira diferente, com outros olhos, o que está em consonância com o objetivo das PMD, que é contribuir para desconstruir estereótipos sobre a Matemática.

Abstract As a young poet, Hans Magnus Enzensberger sought to garner symbolic capital in the formative years of post-war German literature by translating Pablo Neruda. By arguing that Enzensberger uses a deharmonizing translation strategy to explore his distrust of metaphor, the article maps out coordinates for rethinking the complex relationship between Enzensberger’s poems and translations.
