The article presents the results of a linguistic associative chain experiment to identify the associative field of the basic concept of Russian culture – “Native Land”. Residents of the Trans-Baikal Territory participated in the experiment. The study is of interest because of the border location of the region, its polyenticity, and polyconfessional nature. In addition to general cognitive meanings and their proportions, the results of the experiment allow us to identify language representatives and reactions to them, certain regional peculiarities of the world modeling.

The article deals with axiologically marked symbolic associations related to the sociocultural phenomenon of youth. The research is conducted on the basis of social novels by British and American authors of the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The symbolic meaning of the concept is formed in a textual context and motivated by cultural images, ideas and values. It does not cause an internal semantic change but complements the range of meaning in the process of discourse implementation. The study of the symbolic embodiment of the concept of YOUTH in English literary discourse is not limited to the analysis of individual words but requires conducting an interpretative-textual analysis of the coherent discourse situation, indicating the formation of an associative chain during concept actualization. Chain elements are linked internally into a single unit, forming an associative group. The symbol, carrying the axiological potential of its culture, operates in inseparable unity with the axiological component of the concept under study. The data clarify the relationship between positive and negative axiological representations of the concept.

In a system where there are tons of information of different types it is always hard and frequently impossible to tie the effect to the cause. There is also a challenge to find relevant data quickly, especially in case of absence of classification algorithm that is capable of working with different fields of business and science in parallel. We propose a mechanism for building a network of associative chains that are decentralized to each other. The network allows its participants to build quickly an associative chain from “effect-to-cause”. This feature of the network is extremely useful for identification of a scam activity. The mechanism is based on two technologies, “Smart Transactions” [1] and “Proof of Participation Protocol” [2].

The article discusses the organization of linguistic postmodern literary text. Analyzes the poetic works of Ukrainian postmodern art discourse for selection by the authors of language means of expression to achieve communicative goals. Word in a work of art does not only nominative function, it is used in a subjectify lingual space and determine speechthinking freedom of speaker. The author draws attention to the fact that the poetic function of language, along with the reference, ambiguity and gives it an opportunity for the ambiguity of the utterance. In connection with this understanding of the meaning of art depends on the different attitudes to the very subject of the statement saying, an the method of reading the text. Related words in the concept of becoming unfit for the image “literal” pattern of life. Therefore, a clear sign of postmodernism become Ukrainian verbal games, heteroglossy languages, discourse, linguistic hybrids, marginal dictionaries. He rejects the discourse of a totalitarian society, the official lexicon of Soviet-style language as inadequate to express the individual senses and feelings, instead of resorting to repetition of words, obscene language, citations, etc. The essence of the product is replaced by rhythmic melodic phrase, a phrase open to freely attach to it any associative chain. In the process of generation of artistic expression is present in the selection principle nonselection linguistic means of expression. The dialogue is born and polylogue game between the text of culture, the reader, the author.

Although the taking of notes in clinical group settings is an important issue, it has received surprisingly little attention. Given that it is one of the tools in the analyst’s armoury and part of his or her internal framework, it certainly deserves detailed reflection. Taking notes forces us to question our implicit choices of what is (or is not) relevant to pick up, note down and interpret, as well as the way we process the clinical material both during and after sessions. For all these reasons, we believe it is important to make a careful study of our observation method. This article identifies the criteria for relevant note-taking in a group setting and describes a notation method devised specifically for group settings. The aim of this method is to link different levels of psychic reality, all the while keeping them separate. To this end, the notes are divided into four columns: the group associative chain, the underlying ‘basic scenarios’, internal and intertransferential reactions, and hypotheses about the observed phenomena.
