The main objective of this paper was to review the design considerations and challenges for offsite construction plant in Auckland. The goal is to provide the reasons for selecting the design criteria. For this the production plants Willmot Dixon in UK, CRC in Australia and Fletcher in New Zealand were considered. This plant can be used for products in residential buildings, hospitals, educational buildings and commercial buildings using Lightweight steel and timber framing, Factory assembled bathrooms (FABs) or pods, Cross-laminated timber and Prefabricated and precast concrete. The four design communication alternatives for an offsite production plant based on the requirements for adaptability, efficiency in assembly and production economy are explained according to the needs. The main urban challenges which were faced by Auckland for offsite production plant like speed of construction, cost, waste materials, machines and workers are reviewed using the method of engineering called Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) by which the production costs and the time for products to reach the market are reviewed. Keywords: Offsite, Design, Materials, DFMA

AbstractThe process of destructive and non-destructive testing of the manufacture of high frequency induction welded steel tubes has always give better results at the Labiod-tèbessa Algeria tube construction plant such as tensile testing, folding, flaring and also the flattening tests whose limits of use were given by the experimental methods which have known deficiencies in measures in particular of the parameter of the height H which is given by the equation and that this difficulty is noted between the calculated and measured height levels. For these reasons it is necessary to find a numerical model of simulation which obviously replaces the experimental process to give reliable results with cheaper conditions in terms of cost and time which has been respected which allowed us to collect data. results and compare the different heights calculated and measure and often confirm the experimental tests.

Cajuput is a plant that plays an important role for forest industry development. Its leaves contain essential oil and become one of the non-timber forest products. The productivity of cajuput leaves is affected by certain factors, one of them are the level of land suitability. This study investigated the land suitability for cajuput establishment and its inference on silviculture strategy. Study location was situated in Forest Resort Gubugrubuh, Gunungkidul District. Data collection was conducted in 3 site that converted as the priority site of cajuput plantation namely site 75, site 78, and site 80. We used 6 indicator of land attributes including altitude, slope, rainfall, temperature, soil acidity, and soil organic carbon. The assessment of land suitability was determined by qualitative approach using storie and root square method. The result showed the level of land suitability was classified into N1 (currently not suitable) referring to the storie method, meanwhile it was categorized into S3 (marginally suitable) according to the root square method. This study also discovered the distinctive land attributes which became the limiting factors of cajuput growth in each site. The best silviculture strategies for supporting cajuput development in each site were terrace construction, plant distance management, and fertilization.

Complex study of work conditions and health state covered workers of electric locomotive construction plant. Occupational health disorders appeared to be highly reliably associated not only with traditional factors of work and working process, but also with psycho-social occupational factors. Findings were leading types of diseases in the workers, prediction of health risk from circulatory system diseases. Based on integrated approach to evaluation of work conditions, workers’ health care and well-being at workplace, the authors specified and scientifically justified a complex program of health disorders prevention for workers of major electric locomotive construction plant.
