Human capital is the most important development factor of an innovative economy. Managers at all levels are beginning to recognize the importance of human qualities and skills, as well as the need for their development. The present research diagnozed the state of human capital of the Kemerovo Experimental Mechanical Repair Plant. The paper outlines the theoretical and methodological foundations of human capital, introduces some prospects for its development, analyzes staffing and HR processes, assesses the current system of motivation and remuneration, measures the cost of the human capital, and evaluates all its elements, namely education, culture, and health. A sociological questionnaire made it possible to assess the satisfaction from labor conditions and management, as well as the level of motivation. The authors offer some improvement measures for the development of the human capital within the enterprise in question.

The paper reviews the main causes and factors affecting the rock mass movement processes. Based on instrumental surveys performed by specialized organizations it was established that the rock mass movement develops slowly and evenly without sinkholes and large cracks on the ground surface. The protection measures for buildings and facilities can be divided into two types: mine protection measures and structural measures. The main facilities at the Talnakh deposits that are subject to protection are generally located within the service sites for auxiliary ventilation, rock and material shafts. These facilities are used mainly for industrial purposes. Industrial buildings include, first of all, surface shaft facilities (buildings and the winding towers), hoist engine buildings, stowage facilities, large ventilation and compressor units, mechanical repair shops, electrical substations, administrative and amenity buildings, etc. Currently, the main protection measure for the above mentioned facilities is backfilling of the mined-out space with solidifying compounds, which drastically reduces the amount of deformations in the rock mass and on the ground surface and, as many years of experience have shown, ensures uninterrupted operation of most of the facilities within the mine impact zone without applying additional mining and structural protection measures.

This paper presents an electromagnetic-mechanical repair patch (EMRP) to restore the mechanical and electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption performance of a radar-absorbing structure (RAS) damaged by lightning strike. Several researchers have primarily focused on ensuring high repair efficiency, particularly in terms of the primary load-bearing properties of repaired fiber-reinforced plastics. However, no study has proposed a practical repair approach that considers the multi-functionality of the radar-absorbing structure. The EMRP method can be used to repair lightning strike damage in a radar-absorbing structure with electroless nickel-plated glass fabric, considering the need to maintain structural integrity and electrical continuity to achieve a high repair efficiency. Damage due to an artificial lightning strike was assessed in terms of area and depth of the damage using image processing, ultrasonic C-scan, and micro X-ray inspection. The EM characteristics of one-dimensional return loss scanning and the echo radar-cross-section level were measured to verify the stealth performance of the repaired radar absorber in the X-band. In addition, the tensile test results demonstrated that the repaired radar absorber had a high recovery rate of 93% compared to the pristine radar absorber. The experimental results obtained in this study validate the use of the proposed EMRP method in repairing radar-absorbing structures.

В статье представлена апробированная методика оценки значимости факторов, определяющих стоимость технической эксплуатации машин. Для оценки факторов использован однофакторный дисперсионный анализ условий выполнения технических воздействий. Производительность технического обслуживания и ремонта зависит от места их проведения. Это могут быть полевые условия, ремонтно-механические мастерские, специализированные предприятия. В себестоимости продукции лесного комплекса до 30 составляют затраты на техническое обслуживание и ремонт машин. Исследование факторов, влияющих на эти затраты, является актуальным. В статье на конкретном примере осуществлена оценка значимости условий проведения технического обслуживания лесозаготовительной машины. Наилучшие условия проведения технического обслуживания в пунктах централизованного технического обслуживания. Это снижает продолжительность и повышает производительность работ. Методика оценки значимости факторов может быть применима к любым территориально распределенным машинам. Может быть оценена значимость механовооруженности ремонтно-обслуживающей базы, квалификация и стаж рабочих, возраст и наработка машин. Это является дальнейшим развитием работы. Дальнейшим развитием работы может быть использование двухфакторного и многофакторного дисперсионного анализа. Применение дисперсионного анализа позволяет оценить влияние количественных и качественных факторов. Сущность исследования значимости факторов заключается в разложении полной дисперсии на сумму дисперсий. Влияние каждого фактора на изучаемый признак оценивается его вкладом в полную дисперсию. Апробация оценки влияния способа организации работ, на длительность технического обслуживания осуществлена на примере тракторов Онежского тракторного завода (ОТЗ). Материалом для исследования явились данные эксплуатационных испытаний на надежность тракторов в условиях опорных пунктов Республики Карелия. Испытывались тракторы одной марки в пределах ресурсной наработки. Учитывалась длительность технических обслуживаний в условиях лесосеки, передвижных пунктов ремонта на верхнем складе, пунктов централизованного обслуживания, мобильными средствами. Наиболее эффективными явились условия пунктов централизованного технического обслуживания машин и оборудования. The paper deals with the tested method of estimating the significance of factors that govern the costs of forest machines operation. A single-factor analysis of variance was used for factor estimation. The productive capacity of technical maintenance and repair depends on the repair area location. It can be field conditions, mechanical repair shops or specialized enterprises. Technical maintenance expenses account for up to 30 of the total cost of forest complex production. Therefore the investigation of factors that affect these expenses is important. This paper contains an example in which the significance of forest machines technical maintenance conditions is estimated. The best conditions for technical maintenance are at centralized service points because there it is possible to decrease the servicing time and increase the work output. The proposed method of factor significance estimation can be applied to any geographically distributed machines. This method allows estimating the significance of such factors as the degree of maintenance and servicing base mechanization, the level of staff qualification and experience and the duration of machine operating time. The application of two-way and multivariate analysis of variance can be used in further wok development. The usage of variance analysis allows measuring theinfluence of quantitative and qualitative factors. The investigation of factor significance can be presented as the variance decomposition into a sum of variances. The influence of every factor is estimated as its contribution into the total variance. Onego Tractor Plant machines were used to test the influence of workflow management on the servicing time. This study is based on the results of tractor operation reliability tests at the service points in the Republic of Karelia. Tractors of the same models were tested within the similar operating time. The servicing time was considered for machines serviced at wood cutting areas, trucks workshops, centralized service points, or by using mobile maintenance and support equipment. The centralized service points were found as the most effective practices of forest machine technical maintenance.

Rotator cuff tear is a common cause of shoulder pain and disability in adults. Due to the various nature of progression of rotator cuff tears and the complex biomechanics of the shoulder joint, repair and treatment of large-to-massive tears are challenging for many surgeons. Despite the recent popularity of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty as a treatment option for large-to-massive irreparable rotator cuff tears, biological and mechanical repair augmentation has also shown promise as a viable treatment option. The purpose of this study was to briefly summarize and review current studies on the assessment and arthroscopic treatment of large-to-massive rotator cuff tears, whether repairable or irreparable, to aid in developing a consensus on future treatment directions.
