The peculiarities of morphogenesis of placenta lesions and pathogenesis of placental deficiency in these types of infectious pathology are studied. It is stated that the subcompensated form of the relative chronic placental deficiency in chlamidiosis can be developed, morphological vascularization indices of terminal villi being higher than normal and in mycoplasmosis such placental deficiency is connected with the partial decrease of vascularization indices. In the presence of mixed clamidia and mycoplasma infection in pregnants the dissociated type of villi lesions is observed and the placental vascularization indices (the content and state of capillaries, syncytiocapillar membranes and syncytial kidneys) ' are impaired to a greater extent resulting in chronic placental defficiency.

Mycoplasma salivarium is a common mycoplasma usually isolated from human oropharynx, particularly from individuals with periodontal disease. It is also among the more common mycoplasmal contaminants of eukaryotic cell cultures. Although M. salivarium has been isolated occasionally from abscesses and other sterile sites, to our knowledge, only three cases of septic arthritis have been documented in the past due to this organism, all in patients with humoral immunodeficiency. We now report a fourth case of septic polyarthritis in a patient with profound hypoimmunoglobulinemia who had experienced dental abscesses within the preceding 2 years. Our case highlights the importance of considering invasive mycoplasmal infection in hypogammaglobulinemic patients. It is likely of significance that the patient had suffered recurrent dental abscesses as a source of infection with M. salivarium .

There are presented data of a prospective three-year follow-up study of patients with acute bronchitis (OB) at the pediatric site. The calculated population prevalence rate of acute bronchitis in children amounted to 74-96/ 1000 children. The tactics of various methods of the treatment of acute acute bronchitis (acute bronchitis) and acute obstructive bronchitis (OOB) in two adjacent pediatric areas were evaluated. The authors found no significant differences in the duration of arresting wheezing and dyspnea in simple bronchitis with antibiotics as compared with saline inhalations in two compared groups. According to the criterion “disappearance of wheezing” there was shown the efficacy of a 3% solution of sodium chloride (the main group) if compared with the use of antibiotic and berodual in the comparison group. Antibacterial therapy was required in 15% of cases for children suffered from acute bronchitis with concomitant urinary tract infections, acute otitis media, chlamydia and mycoplasmal infection.

Background. Acute respiratory infections are an urgent problem of pediatrics due to the high incidence rate and high risk of bacterial complications. Aim. The aim of the study was to analyze the statistical indicators of the incidence of communityacquired pneumonia (CAP) in children of the Ryazan region, to determine the clinical and epidemiological features of mycoplasmal infection, and to assess its role in CAP morbidity in children. Materials and Меthods. The analysis of the incidence of CAP in children of the Ryazan region (20142016) and of medical documentation of 106 children (55 boys, 51 girls) (age from 9 months to 17 years) was conducted. All patients underwent oxigenometry, clinical and laboratory examination, radiography, detection of specific IgM antibodies to M. pneumoniae. Results. In the Ryazan region there is noted an increase in the incidence of CAP in children as compared to the stable level of the incidence of CAP in Russia: in children under 14 years of age the incidence is 1.5 times higher than in 2014 and 2.8 times higher than in 2015, and is 2 times higher than in 2014 in 1517 year old children. Most commonly mycoplasmosis was recorded in preschool age children, with the peak incidence in OctoberDecember. The disease began acutely without significant symptoms of intoxication and local changes. 77.3% of children had pneumonia, mostly rightsided (48.8%), and 33.1% had a mixed bacterial infection. Hematological indices indicated the presence of iron deficiency anemia in 12.3%, and moderate leukocytosis in 28% of children. Antibiotic therapy was carried out with the use of macrolides, and in case of mixed bacterial infection a combination of antibiotics with cephalosporins of the 3d generation was used. Conclusion. In recent years there has been an increase in the incidence of CAP in children. Seasonality of hospitalization of children with mycoplasmal infection was revealed, and a high incidence of the disease in preschool children with chronic pathology. In 77.3% of examined children mycoplasmosis took the form of CAP, which influenced the incidence rate of CAP in children.

Mycoplasma is a virulent organism that is known to primarily infect the respiratory tract; however, affection of the skin, nervous system, kidneys, heart and bloodstream has been observed in various forms, which include Stevens Johnson syndrome, erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, encephalitis, renal failure, conduction system abnormalities and hemolytic anemia. Small vessel vasculitis is a lesser-known complication of mycoplasma pneumonia infection. We report a case of mycoplasmal upper respiratory tract infection with striking cutaneous lesions as the presenting symptom. Mycoplasmal infection was confirmed by serology testing, skin biopsy was suggestive of leukocytoclastic vasculitis. This case brings forth an uncommon manifestation of mycoplasmal infection with extra-pulmonary affection, namely small vessel vasculitis.
