Economic security embraces all spheres of activity, and brings neglect over by it’s to the negative (catastrophic) consequences, decline of different aspects of development the industries of economy, separate types of enterprise. Therefore there is a requirement in forming a paradigm of mechanism the strengthening economic security of entrepreneurial activity in obedience to the doctrines of economy development of Ukraine. A research aim is directed on forming of effective mechanism of strengthening economic security according to terms of business development, dynamics of moving the national economy, level of innovative diffusions and existent internal and external calls. Methodological basis of research became modern normative, legal, legislative aspects of strengthening economic security and eliminated of existent threats in the process of business developments. In the researches was using methods of dialectics, principles of scientific cognition, instruments of economic analysis for the sake of forming the effective mechanism of strengthening economic security of enterprise. The basic hypothesis of research became supposition about possibility of creation of universal mechanism of strengthening economic security that can provide stable development of entrepreneurial activity in the different spheres of national economy. Exposition of basic material. in the article are investigated the threats that influence on economic security of enterprise. Underline, that each of  threats can have the mechanisms strengthening of economic security, that consist with facilities, instruments, methods and forms composition, that it can be enough unique, depending on the type of enterprise. Originality and practical meaningfulness of research are confirmed by the offered composition of facilities, methods, forms and instruments of mechanism the strengthening of economic security that it is universal from one hand, and from other is allowing to tune the specific of activity the separate type of enterprise. Conclusions and prospects of further researches. It is well-proven that the mechanism of strengthening the economic security of enterprise must provide possibilities of the effective functioning of business and be the element of mechanism the economic security of the system of higher level. For every businessman there are the absolutely individual approaches to forming of mechanism the strengthening of economic security that depends from material and technical and financial resources, quality and structure of management entrepreneurial activity; state and regional support, legislative and legal base of functioning. Further researches will be directed on adaptation of the offered mechanism of strengthening the economic security, its monitoring and correcting, going out the requirements of internal and external environment of business and dynamics of global economic changes

This book employs the ecosocial theory of disease distribution to combine critical political and economic analysis with a deep engagement with biology, in societal, ecological, and historical context. It illuminates what embodying (in)justice entails and the embodied truths revealed by population patterns of health. Chapter 1 explains ecosocial theory and its focus on multilevel spatiotemporal processes of embodying (in)justice, across the lifecourse and historical generations, as shaped by the political economy and political ecology of the societies in which people live. The counter is to dominant narratives that attribute primary causal agency to people’s allegedly innate biology and their allegedly individual (and decontextualized) health behaviors. Chapter 2 discusses application of ecosocial theory to analyze: the health impacts of Jim Crow and its legal abolition; racialized and economic breast cancer inequities; the joint health impacts of physical and social hazards at work (including racism, sexism, and heterosexism) and relationship hazards (involving unsafe sex and violence); and measures of structural injustice. Chapter 3 explores embodied truths and health justice, in relation to: police violence; climate change; fossil fuel extraction and sexually transmitted infectious disease: health benefits of organic food—for whom? ; public monuments, symbols, and the people’s health; and light, vision, and the health of people and other species. The objective is to inform critical and practical research, actions, and alliances to advance health equity—and to strengthen the people’s health—in a deeply troubled world on a threatened planet.

As the global diesel generator market grows and generators gain wider use, various methods are being developed to increase their energy efficiency. One of these methods entails integrating a Li-ion battery with diesel generators (DGs). This method did not attract attention until recently because it was economically unappealing. A significant decrease in the price of Li-ion batteries in recent years has made hybrid diesel generator/Li-ion battery systems more viable. We present a model-based economic analysis of a hybrid DG/Li-ion battery system with the aim of increasing the energy efficiency of diesel power generators. Special blocks were developed for calculations and comparisons with a MATLAB Simulink model, including 457 kW DG operating modes with/without a Li-ion battery. We simulated the system in order to calculate the conditions required to achieve savings in fuel and the level of savings, in addition to the payback time of the Li-ion battery. Furthermore, we present the additional savings gained by postponing the investment in a new diesel generator thanks to the Li-ion battery. Based on our findings, the payback period of the Li-ion battery system varies between 2.5 and 4 years. According to our 12-year economic analysis, the cost savings resulting from postponing new investments can reach 40% of the profit gained from the savings during such a period.

Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the most important crops grown globally. Biochar has been proposed as an alternative to aid sustainable soybean production. However, comprehensive studies that include both the economic aspects of soybean production and biochar are scarce. Poland, with an economy largely based on agriculture, is an interesting case to investigate the cost-effectiveness of using biochar in soybean production. We show that the use of biochar at rates of 40, 60 and 80 t/ha is unprofitable compared with a traditional soil amendment, such as NPK fertilization. The breakeven price for biochar to be economically viable should be USD 39.22, USD 38.29 and USD 23.53 for 40, 60 and 80 Mg/ha biochar, respectively, while the cost of biochar used for this experiment was USD 85.33. The payback period for doses of 40 and 60 Mg/ha was estimated to be three years. With a carbon sequestration subsidy of USD 30 per ton of CO2, the use of biochar may be profitable in the first year of soybean production. This is the first comprehensive economic analysis of the use of biochar in soybean production in Poland and one of the few published worldwide.
