This paper tries to overcome the shortcomings of the recent technology that fails to enhance the communication between physically disabled people by designing an assistive device. This device uses a GSM modem with a SIM card and no smartphones are needed which makes the device affordable. Here, the sender sends the message to the phone number of the disabled person and he/she receives the SMS that gets converted to text and voice message and vibrations to Braille pad using a microcontroller which is easily readable by the disabled person.

Infant Monitoring System for Deaf Parents that aims to convert Baby crying sounds which are not distinguishable by deaf people into recognizable alerts. The project proposes an intelligent system which is capable of identifying the cry of baby using mic and send the alerting messages directly to the concern person’s mobile phone number using GSM Modem. This project makes use of a mic, GSM Modem, and Raspberry Pi processor. Raspberry Pi processor automatically reads the crying sound of the baby using mic, which is interfaced to the USB driver of the Raspberry Pi, after audio file is recorded it is processed with ANN, filtered with MFCC then the processor will detect sound consist of baby cry. If baby cry detected then predefined alert message will be sent to the predefined phone number that is stored in SIM card via GSM modem.

The 5G system can deliver simultaneouslyunicast services, multicast services and broadcast services using the conventional high-power high- tower (HPHT) infrastructure and with the same spectrum. The Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) LTEevolved -multimedia broadcast- multicast service (eMBMS) have new features designed for Terrestrial Broadcast services in Release 14.  A broadcast service means only receive mode, only downlink no uplink or inserting a SIM card not needed. In free to air reception without a SIM card or without user device registration with the network the content can be received. This specification is standardized in release 15. In this study a two layer Layered-Division Multiplexing (LDM) is used in 5G new radio (NR).A significant performance could be analyzed in a 5G- NRMBMS  by using two layer LDM system for delivering terrestrial broadcast services. The performance analysis demonstrated by computer simulations. Using two-layer LDM in 5G-NRMBMS system a high-qualityservice can be provided to both handheld and fixed devices

The Mongolian government has used ICT infrastructures to encourage democratic deliberation and decision-making, even among the most rural herders. This chapter focuses on the 2015 cell phone referendum in which each SIM card owner was given one vote in a national referendum on mining policy. While the referendum was widely regarded as a flop due to low voter turnout, this chapter argues that the referendum established the expectation among Mongolian herders that their government can and should reach out to even the most remote herders for feedback on national policy.

With 5G technology physical separation of SIM cards with mobile phone will be possible in coming days. Physical separation will help connecting remotely to various devices and easily for the mobile users to switch to new handsets with all data available on the other device too. The embedded Universal Circuit Card is form of programmable SIM card that can be embedded directly into a device with an objective to avoid to avoid sim card change in case where data, the application type or the operator is changed with less cost, less time and more efficiency. Major concern with use of ESIM is the mutual security between the user and the operator.

The paper focuses on acronym-based noun phrases, i.e. noun phrases consisting of an abbreviation and a non-abbreviated lexeme. The author works with the theory of lexical motivation which presumes the existence of several types of motivation, including abbreviation and syntactic motivation. While abbreviations are formed by means of abbreviation motivation, syntactic constructions such as noun phrases are formed by means of syntactic motivation. Both types of motivation are dominant in the forming of abbreviation noun phrases. The author distinguishes and explains the differences between tautological (PIN number), semi-tautological (SIM card) and explicative noun phrases (GPRS platforms) as well as abbreviation multi-word units (USB port). The paper points out manifold functionality of each type of abbreviation noun phrase/multiword unit and presents abbreviations as productive means of forming new constructions and lexemes. Their versatile character makes abbreviations universal forms for coining new expressions of terminological character and thus contributing to multiple terminological databases of languages.

The article substantiates the need to study the means of mobile as a source of forensic information, because the possibilities of this type of communication are widely used in criminal activities, including during training, as well as in the commission and concealment of criminal offenses. As a result of the analysis of scientific works, which highlight the main approaches to defining the concept of «forensically significant information», supported the view of V. Biriukov that forensically significant is any information, regardless of origin and main purpose, which is important for the establishment of certain circumstances, objects and facts in the investigation process, as well as for the development and improvement of forensic knowledge. It is proved that the main types of criminologically significant information are evidentiary and indicative information. The legislative definition of mobile communication is considered, as well as the main components of this type of communication. It is noted that forensic information that arises as a result of the use of mobile means, mostly belongs to the category of digital information. The main properties of digital information and its types depending on the source of origin are determined. It is proposed to divide forensically significant information generated by the use of mobile communications into: information generated and stored directly in the mobile phone, including the phone's internal memory, SIM card and external storage (flash cards) and information generated and stored in the operating information systems and communication centers of the mobile operator. The list of information that can be used in the process of detection, investigation and prevention of criminal offenses, and which are contained directly in the mobile phone, as well as on the SIM card and flash cards used in it, and the telecommunications operator or provider. It is emphasized that some forensically significant information generated as a result of the use of mobile means of communication can be obtained only by conducting such covert investigative (search) actions as removing information from transport telecommunications networks and locating electronic equipment. As a result of the study, the author concluded that the analysis of forensic information that arose as a result of the use of mobile communications can confirm or deny the existence of a number of circumstances to be proved in criminal proceedings.
