The quality of concrete and the reliability of its exploitation in structures and structures are largely determined by such characteristic as strength. Additives increasing the strength can significantly improve the quality of concrete. The aim of this work is mathematical modeling of the effect of refractory metal nanopowders on the strength of concrete. Regression equations of the first and second orders are constructed, which adequately find the dependence of the compressive strength of concrete on the input parameters. For presented model the optimal values of the concentrations of refractory metal nanopowders have been calculated.

The thermooxidative degradation behavior of the epoxy composites filled with metal nanopowders has been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis under nonisothermal conditions in air atmosphere. The mechanical characteristics of epoxy composites were also studied by three-point bending method. The comparison of two different types of metal nanopowder was made. Aluminum and copper nanopowders prepared by electrical explosion of wires were used as fillers separately as well as in combination with conventional fame-retardant boric acid. It was shown that aluminum nanopowder increased slightly thermal stability of the epoxy composites. On the contrary, the introduction of copper nanopowder in epoxy resin led to rapid degradation of the epoxy composite. The combination of metal nanopowders and boric acid improved thermal stability of the epoxy composites. The highest flexural properties showed the epoxy composite filled with copper nanopowder.

An injection form of the mineral complex consisting of a mixture of iron, zinc and copper nanopowders has been proposed. According to the results of studies the injection form of the drug based on metal nanopowders belongs to the V-VI class of practically non-toxic, relatively harmless drugs by Hodge and to the 5th class of toxicity in accordance with GOST 32644-2014.
