We present a detailed analytical investigation of the optimal control of uniformly heated granular gases in the linear regime. The intensity of the stochastic driving is therefore assumed to be bounded between two values that are close, which limits the possible values of the granular temperature to a correspondingly small interval. Specifically, we are interested in minimising the connection time between the non-equilibrium steady states (NESSs) for two different values of the granular temperature by controlling the time dependence of the driving intensity. The closeness of the initial and target NESSs make it possible to linearise the evolution equations and rigorously—from a mathematical point of view—prove that the optimal controls are of bang-bang type, with only one switching in the first Sonine approximation. We also look into the dependence of the optimal connection time on the bounds of the driving intensity. Moreover, the limits of validity of the linear regime are investigated.

Networks are an emerging area within the literature related to how entrepreneurs transfer knowledge, seek partnerships, and ultimately interact with others. Some terms with which this area has been defined are Business Networks, Knowledge Networks & Collaboration Networks. It is a cross-cutting phenomenon in various areas of knowledge, such as open innovation and entrepreneurship. However, the relevance of the use of networks for entrepreneurs and the development of global start-ups leads us to the need to propose a conceptual framework for the planning and administration of these business networks. It is an analytical investigation with a case study methodology. They are cases of the cities of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Santiago (Chile) mainly of consulting and software services. From the models usually used in entrepreneurship, those with integrated tools and methodologies for the development of business networks by founders or administrators of start-ups.

In gynecological care, mHealth (mobile health) technology may play an important role. Medical professionals’ willingness to use this technology is the key to its acceptance. Most doctors utilize mobile health technology; however, there is still room for improvement in the use of mHealth. Gynecologists were asked to participate in this research to see how open they were to use mobile health technologies. In this descriptive-analytical investigation, the researchers determined the average scores for each variable. The overall mean for preparedness to embrace mobile medical technology is 1.8 out of 2, as shown in Table 1. When it came to their desire to embrace mobile health technology, doctors’ years of experience correlated negatively with their age. According to our findings, the amount of interest in mobile health technology is high. Patients’ private information must be protected throughout the usage of this technology though. Mobile health technology may effectively reach patients in remote areas, but it is not a substitute for face-to-face encounters with medical professionals.
