Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystal has been doped with chloride to alter its physical and chemical properties. The pure and chloride mixtured KDP was grown by slow evaporation solution growth technique. The X-raydiffractometry (XRD) analys is shows that the crystalline perfection these optimum conditions is extremely good without having any internal structural grain boundaries and mosaic nature. The lattice parameters have been determined for pure KDP and chloride mixtured KDP from the single crystal XRD. The crystals grown by these optimum conditions show positive effects in the various characterization techniques.

A good optical quality crystal of 2-aminopyridine (2AP) metal complex crystals was grown by slow evaporation technique at room temperature. The transparent and defect less bulk size of 2-aminopyridine potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate metal complex crystals have been grown by solution growth method. The molecular structure and morphology of grown crystals was drawn and planes are indexed using WINXMORPH software. A optical absorption spectrum, the UV cut-off wavelength, Band gap (Eg), Reflectance (R), Refractive Index (n), Extinction coefficient (K) and Electrical susceptibility (χc) are calculated for 2AP metal complex crystals.

AbstractSystematic studies of a series of RE-titanate pyrochlore single crystals determined the formation enthalpies, ΔH0f-ox, and the critical amorphization temperature, Tc, the temperature above which the crystal can no longer be amorphized. A negative linear correlation was observed between ΔH0f-ox and Tc. In general as the cation radius ratio, RA/RB, decreases the formation enthalpy becomes less exothermic, i.e. the pyrochlore structure becomes less thermodynamically stable while the susceptibilty to ion beam-induced amorphization decreases. The opposite relation, i.e. a positive linear correlation between ΔH0f-ox and Tc was observed for a series of REPO4 single crystals with both the monazite and xenotime structures. Both relations can be understood in terms of pyrochlore and orthophosphate crystal chemistry, their formation of point defects, and the role of ion-irradiation induced phase transformations.
