The Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) Banjar Regency is a forum for association of student organizations within the Banjar Regency. The registration process for organizational members is carried out conventionally, which must come to the PMII Kabupaten Banjar then filled out all available forms and collected them back to the administration department. Then a written test is held which will be held on the specified day, after the participant is declared to have passed, then the participant will be invited to carry out an interview test.  Documentation of activities on books and paper causes data recording to take a long time due to different handwriting and difficulty in reading them, books and paper are also prone to damage and loss. It is very difficult to find data from previous registered member because there is no good documentation. There is also no standard committee election fee, which creates difficulties in choosing a new committee.  With the Information System, the registration service process, written tests until interviews can be well documented and stored, data retrieval becomes faster also data management is more structured. The management system for each member also facilitates the management of existing members in the PMII Kabupaten Banjar and can be used as a reference when forming a committee. Testing User Acceptance on the application of the system gets Cronbach Alpha value of 0.654, which means that the reliability is included.

We design an experiment to test how voters vote in a small committee election with three alternatives. Voters have common preferences that depend on an unknown state of nature. Each voter receives an imprecise private signal prior to the election and then casts a vote. The alternative with the most votes wins. We fix the number of voters in our experiment to be five and focus on differences in the information structure (prior and signal distributions). We test three different treatments (different prior and signal distributions) that pose different challenges for the voters. In one, simply voting for one’s signal is an equilibrium. In the other two, it is not. Despite the different levels of complexity for the voters, they come relatively close to the predicted strategies (that sometimes involve mixing). As a consequence, the efficiency of the decision is also relatively high and comes close to predicted levels. In one variation of the experiment, we calculate posterior beliefs for the subjects and post them. In another, we do not. Interestingly, the important findings do not change.

Abstract: This article discusses about a political shari’ah’s view on the implementation of the village’s head election in Daleman-Kedungdung-Sampang. The results of the research conclude that the mechanism of the village’s head election starting from the formation of the committee election, the candidates crawl, the campaign, the voice collecting and counting, and the announcement and the establishment of elected candidates. The election committee has done them according to the procedures and not in conflict with the political shari’ah as well as the Regional Regulation of Sampang No. 5 year 2006 concerning the procedures for the nomination, election, appointment and dismissal of the head of the village. However, in its implementation, there was one of the candidates practiced money politics and intimidation where the money politics is banned by Islamic law, while intimidation violates the basic values of the political shari’ah about welfare. It is not also justified under article 15 of Regional Regulation No. 5, article 15 year 2006 of Sampang. In addition to the money politics and intimidation practice, the village’s head election is also tinged with gambling which is obviously forbidden in Islam. However, the Regional Regulation has not clearly set those practices yet. Keywords: Village’s head election, political shari’ah
