The COVID-19 pandemic has overtaken the lives of millions around the world. While this has helped the virtual technology make advances, it has restricted social beings to their households for over a year. It is only natural to want a change from the boring view of the house and the Olympics being conducted itself is one of the global feats that showcase the resilience of people to strive forward without letting the virus command their lives. With frustration predominating the powerful emotions, people are slowly beginning to resign to the acceptance of the dangers of the deadly virus with its constantly evolving nature. The latest delta variant is the most dangerous one so far. Despite the extensive research being carried out by various diligent scientists, the ultimate cure has yet to be found. Until then, our best hope is the vaccination and following the guidelines of social distancing and protection with masks. These are simple, common-sense rules that need the least amount of instruction yet people seem to find it hard to adhere to these new norms. There is increasing hesitancy and fear due to lack of research but if people can be brave enough to weather the perils of the virus at a universal scale, they should be able to brave the tiny prick as well.

Gridhrasi is such an entity enumerated fewer than eighty types of nanatmaja Vataj Vyadies. It is characterized by its distinct pain emerging from buttock and goes towards the heal of afflicted side. Based on the symptom complex, it can be broadly correlate with disease Sciatica in Modern Science. As per the data available, the lifetime prevalence of low back pain is estimated to be 60-70%. Although most patient is self-treat back, pain and only 25-30% seek medical care. ‘There's something of everything there, the best and the worst, the vulgar and the sublime, flowers, muck, tears, laughter, the river of life itself’ Pascal Rougon has served as a doctor in the rural French town of Plassans for thirty years. He lives a quiet life with his faithful servant Martine and young niece Clotilde. Pascal is a man of science, striving to find the ultimate cure for all diseases. This puts him at odds with his niece, who is horrified by his denial of religious faith. Clotilde also distrusts Pascal's lifelong ambition to create a family tree on scientific principles, based upon his theories of heredity. Tensions in the household are fuelled by Pascal's scheming mother, Félicité, as the final episode in the great Rougon-Macquart saga plays out. Dr Pascal is the passionate conclusion to Zola's twenty-novel sequence, and the most eloquent expression of the ideas on heredity and human progress that have underpinned it. Human relations are at its heart, as Pascal and Clotilde are bound ever closer by ties of family and love.

The ultimate cure for the tendon pathology continues to elude current science. Despite great steps in technology, the causation and treatment is still not clear. The number of different theories and treatment modalities in the literature may confuse clinicians and patients. In this paper we outline the definitions, evolution of pathogenesis and treatment for tendinopathy. By highlighting these, the aim of this paper is to guide the practitioner in counselling and treating their patients.

Type 1 diabetes is a chronic autoimmune disease resulting from the immune destruction of insulin-producing β-cells in pancreatic islets. It is now a predicable disease in humans with the measurement of islet autoantibodies. Despite the ability to assess disease risk, there is no cure for type 1 diabetes and treatment requires lifelong insulin administration. Individuals with type 1 diabetes are at risk of long-term complications of the disease and the development of concomitant autoimmune disorders. Our understanding of the immunology of diabetes has increased greatly over the last decade at a basic science level, with translation to type 1 diabetes patients. Therapies are emerging to prevent beta cell destruction in these patients. This article centers around our current understanding of the immunology of type 1 diabetes, with a focus on immune intervention for the prevention and ultimate cure of the disease.
