In this paper, by using elliptic curves theory, we study the quartic Diophantine equation (DE) { \sum_{i=1}^n a_ix_{i} ^4= \sum_{j=1}^na_j y_{j}^4 }, where a_i and n\geq3 are fixed arbitrary integers. We try to transform this quartic to a cubic elliptic curve of positive rank. We solve the equation for some values of a_i and n=3,4, and find infinitely many nontrivial solutions for each case in natural numbers, and show among other things, how some numbers can be written as sums of three, four, or more biquadrates in two different ways. While our method can be used for solving the equation for n\geq 3, this paper will be restricted to the examples where n=3,4. Finally, we explain how to solve more general cases (n\geq 4) without giving concrete examples to case n\geq 5.

Some of the factors that cause mothers not to provide colostrum for their babies, and the reasons for the low practice of exclusive breastfeeding in Kebumen Regency are the lack of knowledge of mothers about the benefits of colostrum for babies, and several wrong perceptions about colostrum, which is seen as dirty breast milk, so it is not should be given to babies. Objective To determine the effect of postpartum counseling on colostrum delivery to newborns at Permata Ibu Clinic, Prembun District, Kebumen Regency. The method used was using a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in the study was 34 people. The analysis in this research is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Results: 17 people (45.8%) gave colostrum to their babies before counseling. There were 28 postpartum mothers who gave colostrum to their babies after counseling (90.3%). Based on the normality test on the pretest and posttest, it was obtained p <0.05, indicating that the data were not distributed. Positive Rank of 11. Wilcoxon test obtained Z count of -3.317 with p = 0.001.

The study design used a pre-experimental, one group pre-post test design. The population is all people with hypertension in the Coastal Area, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province. Subjects were 40 respondents using total sampling. The independent variable was beet powder (Beta Bulgaris) and the dependent variable was blood pressure. Data were collected using a digital tensimeter and analyzed with Wilcoxon (α <0.05). The results of the study had an average systolic blood pressure of 165 mmHg and a diastolic of 93 mmHg. The difference in systolic blood pressure results ρ = 0.000 (Negative Rank: 28, Positive Rank: 6, Ties: 6) diastolic results ρ = 0.293. The results of the analysis ρ <α, then there is a significant difference in systolic blood pressure before and a container of Beetroot Powder (Beta Bulgaris) Against Decreasing BloodHypertensive Patients Blood

Abstract The notion of the truncated Euler characteristic for Iwasawa modules is an extension of the notion of the usual Euler characteristic to the case when the homology groups are not finite. This article explores congruence relations between the truncated Euler characteristics for dual Selmer groups of elliptic curves with isomorphic residual representations, over admissible p-adic Lie extensions. Our results extend earlier congruence results from the case of elliptic curves with rank zero to the case of higher rank elliptic curves. The results provide evidence for the p-adic Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer formula without assuming the main conjecture.

Abstract We show that given a finitely generated LERF group G with positive rank gradient, and finitely generated subgroups A, B ≤ G of infinite index, one can find a finite index subgroup B0 of B such that [G : 〈A ∪ B0〉] = ∞. This generalizes a theorem of Olshanskii on free groups. We conclude that a finite product of finitely generated subgroups of infinite index does not cover G. We construct a transitive virtually faithful action of G such that the orbits of finitely generated subgroups of infinite index are finite. Some of the results extend to profinite groups with positive rank gradient.

In this paper, an upper bound for the CP-rank of a matrix over a tropical semiring is obtained, according to the vertex clique cover of the graph prescribed by the positions of zero entries in the matrix. The graphs that beget the matrices with the lowest possible CP-ranks are studied, and it is proved that any such graph must have its diameter equal to $2$.
