In this paper, the controllability of differential systems with the general conformable derivative is studied. By elaborating the rank criterion and the conformable Gram criterion, sufficient and necessary conditions to investigate that a linear general conformable system is null completely controllable are given. We obtain a full generalization to the general conformable fractional-order system case. In addition, Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem to obtain a complete controllability result for a semilinear general conformable system is applied.

Abstract In this paper, the controllability of a class of impulsive neutral stochastic integro-differential systems with infinite delay driven by Rosenblatt process in a separable Hilbert space is studied. The controllability result is obtained by using stochastic analysis and a fixed-point strategy. A practical example is provided to illustrate the viability of the abstract result of this work.

In this paper we study the global controllability of families of the so called non-viscous and viscous Burgers-α systems by using boundary and space independent distributed controls. In these equations, the usual convective velocity of the Burgers equation is replaced by a regularized velocity, induced by a Helmholtz filtered of characteristic wave-length α. First, we prove a global exact controllability result (uniform with respect to α) for the non-viscous Burgers-α system, using the return method and a fixed-point argument. Then, the global uniform exact controllability to constant states is deduced for the viscous equations. To this purpose, we first prove a local exact controllability property and, then, we establish a global approximate controllability result for smooth initial and target states.

In this paper the controllability of a class of impulsive neutral stochastic integro-differential systems driven by fractional Brownian motion and Poisson process in a separable Hilbert space with infinite delay is studied. The controllability result is obtained by using stochastic analysis and a fixed-point strategy. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.

This paper is mainly concerned with the exact controllability for a class of impulsive ψ-Caputo fractional evolution equations with nonlocal conditions. First, by generalized Laplace transforms, a mild solution for considered problems is introduced. Next, by the Mönch fixed point theorem, the exact controllability result for the considered systems is obtained under some suitable assumptions. Finally, an example is given to support the validity of the main results.

In this article, we study the null-controllability of a heat equation in a domain composed of two media of different constant conductivities. In particular, we are interested in the behavior of the system when the conductivity of the medium on which the control does not act goes to infinity, corresponding at the limit to a perfectly conductive medium. In that case, and under suitable geometric conditions, we obtain a uniform null-controllability result. Our strategy is based on the analysis of the controllability of the corresponding wave operators and the transmutation technique, which explains the geometric conditions.

This paper is devoted to analyzing the controllability to rest of the Gurtin-Pipkin model, which is a class of differential equations with memory terms. The goal is not only to derive the state to vanish at some time but also to require the memory term to vanish at the same time, ensuring that the controlled system is controllable to rest. In order to get rid of the influence of memory, the controllability result is obtained by means of the Fourier type approach and the moment theory.

This paper deals with the hierarchical control of the anisotropic heat equation with dynamic boundary conditions and drift terms. We use the Stackelberg-Nash strategy with one leader and two followers. To each fixed leader, we find a Nash equilibrium corresponding to a bi-objective optimal control problem for the followers. Then, by some new Carleman estimates, we prove a null controllability result.

In this work we prove the exact controllability of the wave equation by acting on a strategic zone of the border of a non-convex polygonal domain with crack. Indeed, by combining two methods: that of Grisvard on the exact controllability on domains with corners and that of EL. Jai on the boundary strategic actutors, this exact controllability result has been proven.

This paper is addressed to study local exact controllability to the trajectories of the Burgers–Fisher (BF) equation. By using the global Carleman estimate for the second-order parabolic operator, we establish the observable inequality and obtain the exact controllability to the trajectories of the linear system. Then, by local inverse theory, we consider the controllability result for the Burgers–Fisher equation.
