Abstract—Almost developed applications tend to become as accessible as possible to the user on the Internet. Different applications often store their data in cyberspace for more effective work and entertainment, such as Google Docs, emails, cloud storage, maps, weather, news,... Attacks on Web resources most often occur at the application level, in the form of HTTP/HTTPS-requests to the site, where traditional firewalls have limited capabilities for analysis and detection attacks. To protect Web resources from attacks at the application level, there are special tools - Web Application Firewall (WAF). This article presents an anomaly detection algorithm, and how it works in the open-source web application firewall ModSecurity, which uses machine learning methods with 8 suggested features to detect attacks on web applications.

Digital information resources are fetching more and more imperative for the academic community. The increase of technical colleges in Andhra Pradesh are quiet noteworthy and in advance of various states of India. Digital resources are measured as imperative resources of teaching, research and training. Consequently, digital resources play a important role in academic libraries as they are mostly jingle for the support of academic brilliancy and research. For these research questionnaires were distributed to the faculty members of 10 selected engineering colleges in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, 400 questionnaire distributed amongst the faculty members of 10 engineering colleges. Out of 400, only 336 questionnaires were received back that is the overall response rate is 84%.. 27.98% of the faculties are utilize digital resources for bring up to date Knowledge. This paper suggests that tourist web resources could successfully become part of the L2 class-room with the effect of reinforcing the students’ motivation and adding to their knowledge of the places in which the foreign language is spoken. We aim to show that such resources could be particularly useful if combined with a recently developed teaching methodology relying mainly on oral translation being principally based on work with texts. We suggest that a lecture would become far more exciting if presented in the form of a virtual tour. Such an experience offers not only the possibility to enjoy a virtual visit to new places, but also to learn a lot about them, while learning a foreign language at the same time.

Efforts were made to analyze 5807 citations of Webology published during 2004 to 2019. The citations were classified on the basis of type of material which clearly indicates that periodicals and web resources were the most popular type of resources used by the authors for writing research papers. The study found that out of 5807 citations 2580 citations were authored by the single author and single authorship pattern was found as the most popular authorship pattern among the authors. The study founds the two oldest citations were from the books which were published before 1900. The findings of the study show the notable change in the use of type of resources being used for writing the research papers. The results of the study shoes that use the of periodicals and web resources for writing research papers was increased from 1951 and onward. The study also presented the list of the twenty five highly cited journals, ten highly cited authors, fifteen highly cited web links and five highly cited books.

AbstractWe present recount3, a resource consisting of over 750,000 publicly available human and mouse RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) samples uniformly processed by our new analysis pipeline. To facilitate access to the data, we provide the and R/Bioconductor packages as well as complementary web resources. Using these tools, data can be downloaded as study-level summaries or queried for specific exon-exon junctions, genes, samples, or other features. can be used to process local and/or private data, allowing results to be directly compared to any study in recount3. Taken together, our tools help biologists maximize the utility of publicly available RNA-seq data, especially to improve their understanding of newly collected data. recount3 is available from http://rna.recount.bio.

The author explores the possibility to update PHP language up to PHP 8 in the library websites. Such upgrade is determined by the need for recommended safety level for web-resources. As exemplified by St. Petersburg library websites, the role of PHP language is demonstrated: 70% library websites are based on this technology. The content management systems (CMS) and PHP language versions are identified. For the three most popular CMS (CMS WordPress, CMS Joomla!, without CMS), technological recommendations are given on how to transfer to the new PHP versions (as for early 2021). About 28% websites do not use CMS. Their compatibility with PHP new version has to be provided individually. Approx. 28% library websites use CMS Joomla!, and 19% – CMS WordPress. Today, these management systems cannot support PHP 8 in full: WordPress is beta-compatible, while with Joomla! the work has been just in progress. The most recent information for IT specialists interested in library website design is given; releases to follow PHP 8 after November 2020, are described.
