This study is a first attempt to investigate the catch efficiency of LED light technology compared to the traditional incandescent lamp that is used in the purse seine fishery (PS) in the Central Adriatic Sea (Mediterranean Sea). Catches per unit effort were adopted to assess the performance of lighting systems, considering the electrical energy and the fuel consumption as effort units. Concerning the catch efficiency, the white LED, which emits the same light spectra as the incandescent lamp, increased the yield by over 2 times per consumption unit of energy and fuel. The yield efficiency increased up to approximately 6 and 9 times when adopting the pulsing white or blue LED, respectively. These increases were due to the energy savings resulting from the flashing of the white LED or by the greater water penetration of the blue LED. No significant difference in target species sizes was detected between the use of LEDs and the incandescent lamp. The results obtained from estimates of the hourly fuel consumption and CO2 emissions stress potential benefits in the reduction of the carbon footprint due to the use of LEDs within the PS fishery. Positive economic impacts were derived from the LED technology on the PS fishery, with the fuel cost-saving percentages all being higher than 60%. The LED technology clearly shows potential benefits at the economic level for the fishermen, and the possibility of mitigating indirect negative effects on the environment due to fuel combustion and greenhouse gas emissions. On the other hand, the application of new technology that improves the catch efficiency of fishing gears should be carefully considered. The lack of regulations controlling technological advancement could cause unwanted long-term effects.

The article presents the stages and results of the combined blackout system development for military automotive vehicles. The relevance of generation changing of devices based on the blackout attachments for lighting and light alarm devicesis due to the entry into force of new regulatory requirements. The problem is solved by integrating the well-known principles of blackout into the design of light-signal devices based on LED light sources. The article shows the fundamental difference in the approaches to substantiate the requirements for devices based on incandescent lamps and LEDs. The examples of practical implementation of the developed system are given. Keywords: lighting and light alarm devices, internal lighting, blackout system, blackout modes, centralized control, incandescent lamp, LED

There are 6 of 7 species of sea turtles in the world found in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the existence of sea turtles is currently experiencing a very drastic decline. This research is one of the conservation efforts to increase the number of sea turtles in several turtle conservation areas in East Java. From the experimental results, the temperature is the most influential factor in the sex determination. The development of egg incubation technology in this study has resulted in hatching results with the number of male sex dominant than female. To produce male eggs the temperature in the hatching media is between 25°C - 30°C, while the optimal temperature for hatching female eggs is >30°C. The artificial turtle egg incubator technology is designed in such a way that the conditions in the hatching chamber are close to the hatching conditions in nature with a temperature that can be set with an incandescent lamp equipped with a temperature sensor, when the high temperature the temperature sensor will work and the incandescent lamp automatically turns off. Optimum moisture conditions of about 70% water content can be regulated by the humidity sensor, when humidity is reduced, it can automatically spray water.

Created a tool to increase Love Bird production so that farmers do not have to worry about the condition of the Love Bird bird if there is noise that will disrupt the bird while laying eggs. This research was conducted by making a detection device to provide information on the status of noise intensity through Android. Thus it can prevent the Love Bird from being stressed when incubating its eggs, the effect is that if the Love Bird sires are disturbed by sound, they will lay eggs outside their cages "glodok", or they will not incubate their eggs. Therefore the breeders must protect the Love Bird from sudden noise. This tool will detect outdoor noise in the enclosure, the sound sensor uses an analog sound sensor v2. This sensor will send data to the Arduino microcontroller. Then the Arduino microcontroller will process the data according to the program that has been made. Data that has been processed by the Arduino microcontroller will turn on the incandescent lamp, turn on the dc fan, send information to the android that there has been noise, and move the servo motor to close the window, so that noise does not enter the cage and disturb the laying birds. And also this tool can detect if the drum room is too hot then the dc fan lights up, and if the drum temperature is too cold it will turn on the incandescent lamp as a heater. In the application the user can see decibels at this time, and can see the history on what date and what time the noise has occurred. Kata Kunci: Arduino uno R3, noise, analog sound sensor v2, DHT11 sensor
