The paper explores the aspects of formation, valuation and developmental resource of intangible assets in trade amid the growing role of online sales channels. The existing criteria of categorising the resources of trade companies as intangible assets are analysed with a focus on their suitability for the established practices. The structure of intangible assets is analysed for online and offline trade. The relevant types of intangible assets are identified and valuation problems are described.

The paper presents an attempt to treat psychological problems in their positive function, as a resource for personality development. Life at large may be treated as problem-solving. Conscious and satisfying living is not a problem-free one, but rather the living heading toward the 39 infantile problems toward profound existential and insoluble problems of an adult living which direct one’s path of personal maturation. Any problem begins with a contradiction of two oppositions, and besides straightforward or compromise strategies of resolving the contradiction, an ultimate dialectical solution is also possible through ascending to a broader framework, scheme of things in which the initial contradiction dissolves, ceases to exist anymore. This way of solving the problem is the way of increased understanding and advanced personality development. The author has elaborated a specific group practice of working with participants’ life problems based on the facilitation of experience processing. This Life Enhancement Work allows to identify inner barriers hampering the experience processing, and the participants become able to unveil the solution they have within themselves; the result is either transformation of the problem into a more mature one or its complete dissolution.

The article provides an overview of the scientific literature, concepts of psychologists, teachers, sociologists who define the family as a social institution, small group or system. The forms and types of families are considered depending on social development, educational impact on the child, and the composition of members. The definition of the family of a child with disabilities is given by describing the features of difficult life situations and the phenomenon of family. As a result, it is concluded that the family of a child with disabilities on the one hand meets the totality of family characteristics as a social phenomenon, and on the other has its own characteristics due to the impact on its life activity of having a child with disabilities. For this reason, the family can both become the main developmental resource for the child, and limit its rehabilitation potential.
