Cloud Storage Service at PT. Harrisma Globaltechnologies Jakarta has not been applied based on virtualization. The problem with cloud storage services in general is that the server is not able to serve a high number of requests as a result the cloud storage server fails. One of these problems is caused by inadequate server resources and less than optimal storage server management. These problems can be solved effectively and efficiently with server virtualization. Where server virtualization is managed by Proxmox. Proxmox is an open-source virtualization platform supported by KVM and OpenVZ hypervisors and can be managed with web-based graphics. Server virtualization collaboration can save server resources by duplicating server services virtually. The research methodology used is clustering by applying the concept of high-availability where there is a secondary server as a backup-server for the primary-server. The results of this study include three parameters, namely Throughput, Response Time, and CPU Usage. The results show that cloud storage servers that implement virtualization than those that do not apply with a difference in the value of the Throughput parameter of 1896.6 Kbps, the difference in the value of the Response Time parameter of 10.6 requests/second, and the difference in the value of the CPU Usage criteria of 11.91%

Server virtualization is a technological innovation widely used in information technology (IT) companies. Virtualization provides a platform to run different operating system services in the cloud. It makes it easy to build multiple virtual machines on a single basic physical machine, either in the form of hypervisors or containers. To host many microservices applications, emerging technology has introduced a model consisting of different operations performed by smaller individual deployed services. Therefore, the demand for low-cost virtualization techniques is developing rapidly. There are many lightweight virtualization technologies; Docker is one of them, which is an open-source platform. This technology enables developers and system administrators to build, create, and run applications using the Docker engine. This document provides performance evaluation of Docker containers and virtual machines using standard benchmark tools such as Sysbench, Phoronix, and Apache, including CPU performance, memory performance, storage read/write performance, load test and measurement of operating speed.

With the rise in cyber-attacks on cloud environments like Brute Force, Malware or Distributed Denial of Service attacks, information security officers and data center administrators have a monumental task on hand. Organizations design data center and service delivery with the aim of catering to maximize device provisioning & availability, improve application performance, ensure better server virtualization and end up securing data centers using security solutions at internet edge protection level. These security solutions prove to be largely inadequate in times of a DDoS cyber-attack. In this paper, traditional data center design is reviewed and compared to the proposed three tier data center. The resilience to withstand against DDoS attacks is measured for Real User Monitoring parameters, compared for the two infrastructure designs and the data is validated using T-Test.

Cloud Computing technology Service and data stored on machine, the server this makes important factor engine server as a supporting service availability. More and more users are accessing the service will result in engine performance server load becomes heavier and less than optimal, because the service must work continuously to provide data that can be accessed anytime by the user via the network connected. Server hardware has a performance period. Likewise with software that may crash. With functionality server which provides services to the client, the server is required to have level of availability. A high this enables the engine server to experience downtime. Server machine must also be turned off for maintenance purposes. The purpose of this study is build Clustering Server to work together as a single system which over the virtual environment. This is a solution to overcome these problems. In this study researcher use a server virtualization proxmox, FreeNAS is a NAS server and DRBD to support high availability of services in the sphere of HA, data synchronization in a High Availability to perform mirroring another system machine. With the implementation of the method of HA and synchronization DRBD and NFS (Network File System) on a system cluster obtained results average migration time on node1 towards node2 reach 9.7(s), 3.7(s) for node2 towards node3, and 3(s) on node3 towards node1. Also obtained downtime less amounting 0.58 ms on node1, on node2 0.02 ms, and 0.02 ms on node3.
