Earlier research has not explicitly emphasised the dynamic integration of entrepreneurship imperatives and transformation in developing the entrepreneurial university. The purpose of this research is to examine the linkage between the strategic intents articulated by universities and their corresponding level of entrepreneurship transformation. This article develops a theoretical framework to examine transformational imperatives, applying a data analytical approach to assess strategic documents using automated content analysis and complex algorithms. Australian universities were chosen for the research given the specific context of the higher education sector and the availability of strategic documents on the institutions’ websites. In the research context, the findings show that, while there are some variances with specific institutions, Australian universities in general, and several groups of universities in particular, expressed different levels of determination, ranging from moderate to moderately strong, to transform themselves into being entrepreneurial. Universities’ management can benefit from the theoretical framework developed in this research to craft strategies to further adopt entrepreneurship imperatives. Implications are also provided to inform universities, industry and government with regard to enhancing the dynamics of entrepreneurship ecosystems.

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the world economy especially on the stock mar-ket, thus the aim of this study is to determine whether there is dynamic integration be-tween the stock markets in Indonesia with the capital market in Asia and in the world during Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses return data from the closing price of 12 stock indices, namely ASX, DOWJONES, FTSE, HANGSENG, IHSG, KLSE, KOSPI, NIK-KEI, PSEI, SET, STI, and TAIWAN from January to December 2020 that have been ana-lyzed using DCC-GARCH. The results showed that the stock markets of both Indonesia, Asia and the world were dynamically integrated due to the global crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that there was a contagion effect on the stock market that occurred during the period when the Covid-19 pandemic crisis occurred. This research can be a reference for investors who want to invest in stocks in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/afr.v3i2.551

This study investigated the potential for the development of a new perceptual experience through sustained training with a sensory augmentation device. For this purpose, we developed (1) a new sensory augmentation device, the NaviEar, and (2) a battery of tests for automaticity in the use of the device. The NaviEar translates cardinal direction into sound. Because the signal of this device is comparatively simple and easy to interpret it should facilitate automatization of use. The test battery assesses different effects of automaticity (interference, rigidity of responses, dynamic integration) assuming that automaticity is a necessary criterion to show the emergence of perceptual feel, i.e. the sensory quality of a percept. We measured performance in simple training tasks, administered the tests for automaticity, and assessed subjective reports through a questionnaire. Results suggest that the NaviEar is easy and comfortable to use and has a potential for applications in real-world situations; but 5-day training with the NaviEar does not reach levels of automaticity that are indicative of perceptual feel. We propose that the test battery for automaticity may be used as a benchmark test for the possibility of perceptual feel in sensory augmentation and in sensory substitution.

In this article, we will discuss the role of the ECJ in the EU legal order. The concept of general principles of law is of great importance today for deepening the process of European integration, the formation and development of EU law as a whole. An important role in its development and consolidation lies with the EU Court of Justice. Its consistent practice has led to the formation of the very concept of EU law and the recognition of its general principles. The Court of Justice of the European Union not only models the concept, but also ensures that the general principles of law are respected by all the institutions of the European Communities and the Member States, which in turn contributes to strengthening the legitimacy of the Communities and of the Union and their legal system and, on the other hand, contributes to a more dynamic integration.
