ABSTRACT Objective: to understand the representations about sexuality of people diagnosed late with HIV infection and its implications in the delayed search for diagnosis. Methods: this is a qualitative study, whose theoretical and methodological framework was Social Representation Theory. The research was carried out with 18 people diagnosed late with HIV infection through an open interview. For data analysis, Structural Narration Analysis was used, with support from MAXQDA 12®. Results: representations about sexuality contributed to delayed diagnosis, such as trust in a fixed partnership, sexual intercourse is natural, sexuality as a taboo, search for pleasure in sexual intercourse, regardless of risks, denial of risk for HIV infection. Final considerations: representations about sexuality participate in a web of stereotypes and riskier ways of living, which contribute to delayed diagnosis. Sexual health education remains necessary and essential throughout people’s lives.

Many scholars, both Muslim and Western, modern and contemporary, draw erroneous conclusions about the differences in theological flow in the context of the narration of hadith. One of the most crucial wrong conclusions is that the validity of the hadith is questioned because of ideological bias and political interest bias in the narration of the hadith. Whereas, a narrator widely labeled “Shafi’ah Rafi’ah”, an ideology that is claimed to be “extreme bid’ah” (al-ghuluw fi al-bid‘ah) by the Sunnis, namely ʻAbbâd b. Ya’qûb (w. 250 H), adorns many books of Sunni’s main hadith book. By applying the descriptive-analytical method and jarḥ wa ta‘dîl approach, the author is interested in exposing evidence that ‘Abbâd b. Ya‘qûb is a Shî’ah-Râfiḍah. The author is also interested in exploring the existence of ʻAbbâd in the Sunni main hadith books and analyzing the value of the hadith narrated by ‘Abbâd and the substance of the hadith narrated by ʻAbbâd in the books of the Sunni main hadith. This study proves that ‘Abbâd b. Ya‘qûb was a Hadith narrator of Syiah-Râfiḍah ideological. However, the existence of the ‘Abbâd as narrators calculated in the compilation Sunni’s Hadith main books (ummahât kutub al-ḥadîth) cannot be negated

One of the most severe consequences resulting from premature motherhood is the inability or shortening of the education period. Author’s empirical verification indicate that the majority of researched girls (underage mothers, educational care facilities foster-children) quickly leave school and interrupt education once their child is born. The narration analysis indicated that its main cause was the difficulty in combining the role of a mother and a student, together with the lack of support from the closest. Only few girls managed to continue education, unfortunately they chose private, evening schools which are known for low quality education. The presented fragmentary empirical verifications indicate that early parenthood reduces the education period. Educational-care facilities foster-children, coming from low-educated families and professional qualifications find it particularly hard or impossible to achieve secondary or even lower-secondary education. Lack of education and professional qualifications has lead them to take up low-income jobs, that do not require any qualifications or to obtain money illegally. Recognizing various consequences of premature motherhood, both individual and social, there is no doubt that teenage mothers, especially foster children of educational-care facilities, should be taken care of. There is only one legal record concerning the education of pregnant student or underage mothers, however, it is not precise, which means that schools have to interpret it by themselves and introduce their own procedures. The subject of the present article is prevention, support and help given to underage pregnant students or underage mothers by the teachers, educators, or peers, who are potential beneficiaries of help, i.e. underage mothers fulfilling the education duty.
