A B S T R A C T The study reveal the reading improvement by using Buzz groups technique. This study used action research. This research finding that buzz groups technique can improve students’ reading comprehension. The improvement can be identified from students’ reading comprehension achievement in finding word meaning, finding detailed information, identifying the referent, identifying the main idea, identiying implied information, identifying the language characteristics of the text including identifying the generic structure of the text and identifying communicative purpose of text. The result score of pre-test is 60.2, the mean score of post-test 1 is 75.4, and the mean score of post-tes 2 is 83. . Key Words: Reading comprehension, buzz groups, CAR (Classroom Action Research)

Abstract The study is aimed to enhance reading comprehension of the second semester students of PAI students of FTIK IAIN Pontianak by using Authentic Material. This is an action research with the subjects were 34 students of Islamic education students (PAI)FTIK IAIN Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019. This is in two cycles and the result was it is effective in enhancing the Islamic education students’ reading comprehension. These materials were much effective when the students together with the authentic task. The improvements such as more focus and active in participating classroom activities in classroom, also motivated and interesting in reading activities. And the class atmosphere is more enjoy and enthusiastic. . Key Words: Reading comprehension, Authentic Material, CAR (Classroom Action Research)

ABSTRACT This paper derived from the research results entitled the Ethical Study On Imperative Politeness Islamic Education Among Students Of Teaching And Education Faculty Of State Islamic Institute. This research used qualitative methods that obtain descriptive data of written or spoken words from people and behaviors observed. This research aims to develop teaching materials to write poetry through audio-visual media in class II, SD / MI. To produce a product in the form of stage writing poetry in a simple child through audio-visual media in teaching material grade II SD / MI by the Research and Development of simplified, includes three main stages, namely 1) the preliminary study; 2) formulation and product development; 3) validation and product dissemination. Results of this research is the stage of writing poetry through audio-visual media that can be done in three stages: knowing, thinking, feeling. Know is the initial stage of introducing the theme of the poem to be written specified in two phases, namely: pre-foundation phase and foundation plantings. Imagining is the stage after the children turn imagination shown in visual media specified in three phases, namely: Phase reseftivitas, reactivity and productivity. Soaking is the stage where the state according to the image and theme supported by appropriate audio poetry themes detailed in two phases, namely: the implementation phase and exploration.
