Abstract In this work, a time-implicit discretization for stochastic linear quadratic problems subject to stochastic differential equations with control-dependence noises is proposed, and the convergence rate of this discretization is proved. Compared to the existing results, the control variables are stochastic processes and can be contained in systems’ diffusion term. Based on this discretization, a gradient descent algorithm and its convergence rate are presented. Finally, a numerical example is provided to support the theoretical finding.

AbstractWe introduce new algorithms for computing non-termination sensitive control dependence (NTSCD) and decisive order dependence (DOD). These relations on vertices of a control flow graph have many applications including program slicing and compiler optimizations. Our algorithms are asymptotically faster than the current algorithms. We also show that the original algorithms for computing NTSCD and DOD may produce incorrect results. We implemented the new as well as fixed versions of the original algorithms for the computation of NTSCD and DOD. Experimental evaluation shows that our algorithms dramatically outperform the original ones.

Optimal unbounded control problems with affine control dependence may fail to have minimizers in the class of absolutely continuous state trajectories. For this reason, extended impulsive versions – which cannot be of measure-theoretic type – have been investigated, in which the domain is enlarged to include discontinuous state trajectories of bounded variation, and for which existence of minimizers is guaranteed. It is of interest to know whether the passage from the original optimal control problem to its extension introduces an infimum gap. This paper provides sufficient conditions for the absence of an infimum gap based on normality of extremals. In certain cases, the normality conditions reduce to simple verifiable criteria, which improve on earlier, directly-derived sufficient conditions for no infimum gap.

A mathematical model of management of recirculation of motor units is developed. It is shown that the efficiency of recirculation control is achieved with a decrease in the content of toxic substances in the exhaust; Limiting the maximum combustion temperature of the fuel and the pressure in the combustion chamber; Speed control. Based on the mathematical model, an algorithm is developed for calculating the control dependence for the regulation of the position of the electromechanical recirculation valve in specialized graphic computer environments with three-dimensional and two-dimensional visualization of analysis and calculation results. Calculation of the amount of emissions of harmful substances without the developed algorithm and using the developed algorithm is carried out.

Among the fault localization methods of the coverage-based regression test cases, the ranking of suspiciousness degree is seriously impacted due to the existence of similar test cases, the existence of isolated treatment of each program entity and the coincidental correctness test cases as well as the poor quality of regression test cases, which reduces the efficiency of fault localization. This paper proposes a method that combines the control dependence and data dependence, test cases covering table and test result with vector angular cosine weight to solve the aforesaid problems. Experimental results show that the efficiency of the proposed fault localization of regression test cases is better than that of Tarantula, Jaccard, Ochiai, PPDG and CP methods.

In this paper an approach to assess the performances of the production structures is introduced. Key figures within this approach are the performance limit of the production structure and the control dependence of the production performance. These figures are visualised for different production structures in a production structure portfolio.
